I agree, it's really hard to finish in expert time, but a lot of the other TM games are so easy and not really challenging, so i really enjoyed having to try several times to earn my expert rating. (Except for the cursed 19a, only getting close but never on time!) Still I have to agree, the timer seems unbalanced, cause in some later levels you can take all the time you want and still finish with plenty of time, while in others you make one wrong click and there goes your expert time! Another thing I didn't like were some of the ghost-levels, you're finished with all your buildings and then have to sit there just waiting for two more minutes for the ghosts to come in, that get killed automatically if you build your statues right. This, and the damned level 19 a are the only reasons I gave four instead of five stars.
I recommend this game!

I was really sceptical of BAL becoming a "FreeTo Play"-Game, but actually it's great! It's the basic BAL gameplay, but more fun for experienced players: you start out with every house and building available, so no playing through 20 boring levels till you get to the interesting part.you can choose to pay real money to get along faster, but you don't have to. Of course the game becomes really challenging without any help, (which is great in my opinion) but of 104 levels I got 99X 3 stars, without buying the extra features.
I tried this game, although the title and its graphics weren't that appealing, (that's why I only gave four stars) but it's actually a great game. No fast clicking, you actually sometimes have to wait a few seconds before you've got enough money to make the next move, but this gives you time to strategize, so it's ok. But if you want to make gold time, you better be quick in the last minute of the level. If you like games such as build-a-lot or be rich, you should give this one a try!
A city is left in ruin at the hands of a corrupt official, and you have been called in to rebuild it in this exciting new installment of the Be Rich franchise!
When I read the other reviews, I thought, the game couldn't be as bad as they described it, but it is. I really liked "Be Rich!" and its sequel, so I wanted to give it a chance and bought it. It is one of the few games I quit playing. I really like playing TM-games, and of course, they usually require a lot of fast clicking, but this is just too much. After half an hour, your arm really starts to hurt. Also, when I buy a nice little TM-Building game such as this,, I'm not looking for a game where to win it, I'll have to kick someone in the face as often and as quickly as possible. I also was appalled by the use of racial stereotypes.
I don't recommend this game.

I liked the idea with the train and bought it after the trial, and played all of the 40 levels, but I was disappointed...no challenge or strategy at all. It's the same basic steps over and over again, and most of the levels can be finished in goldtime at the first try. Some players may find that relaxing, I think it's just boring and not worth the money/credit.
I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, but if you're a fan of the genre, you'll probably love it.
I spent some time retrying each level again and again, but I enjoyed the challenge. Although I didn't make gold on every level, I never had a problem reaching the next ones.( I finished with 36 Gold and 7 Silver.) It's challenging, but not frustrating, if you get the hang of it.
If I could, I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. It's a great building game, if you like "Build-a-lot" etc, you'll probably like this one too. As "ironic_beauty197" mentioned, the pop-ups are a little annoying, but they don't pause the game or disturb your sight too much, I learned to ignore them and enjoyed the game. But it took me some time to figure out, that you have to stop the bandits by clicking on them, still I finished all of the levels in gold.
