I love all the Mortimer Beckett games but this one is horrible! It is not user friendly at all! I should have believed the bad reviews before buying it. It irritates me so much I will just uninstall it and forget it.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved this game. It was a charming little story. It was very fun. Christmas Stories never disappoint me.

Ok, I have seen the bad reviews for this game so I thought I would give it an honest review for 2024. I got the game at a discount. Yes, it is made for kids, but, I found some of the scenes very challenging, truthfully I had to use the hint button a lot and I didn't find all the candy canes and I looked. There is a glitch the first time I played and couldn't find the dollar under the pumpkins but instead of just coming in here to complain about it, I thought I would just start a new game and guess what? I noticed in the first scene that the search items were different from the first game and when I got to the glitchy scene there was no dollar to find so I was able to move past it. Yes, the game content is for kids and the story is kinda lame but for a kid it wouldn't be. It is a well made game. This game hasn't had a review for years so I thought I would leave a current one.
I recommend this game!

I like the game for the most part. Please for #4 PLEASE dont force us to play all the arcade games in order to finish the whole game. This will be a game I dont finish because certain arcade games just irritate me. I always skipped them in Lagoona 2 because I hate them! Please dont do that!

There are 3 things I dont like. #1 the 10 coins, bring back 20. #2 What is the point of the magnets? There is no explanation at all in the question section, why no purpose other than being a pain in the butt for using the rockets. But the 3rd thing bothers me most of all, I am on level 34 and haven't seen a hidden object mini game. Please dont do that. Most people look forward to them like me.

I was disappointed in this game on Big Fish. The original I Spy Treasure Hunt had 3 games. The 3rd games Treasure map used keys to open all the keyholes in all the puzzles to solve the game. This one only had the first 2 games though. Why change it? The 3rd game was the most fun.
Bummer.
I recommend this game!

I liked this game. I like games that have a map and where the hint button tells you where to go next if you get stuck.
I didn't care for the ending though, I suppose that the CE has closure about the guy you were supposed to be helping this whole time? Or maybe it will be continued in the next game story line. I think that as a paying customer that there should be closure to the story line whether you buy the standard or the CE version. It isn't fair to spend this much time on a game only to have you hanging at the end with no closure to the ending. This is the first puppet show purchase for me and I did like the game style. It was fun and entertaining the whole time with interesting HO and mini puzzles. I only gave it 4 stars though because of the ending.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game a lot. Usually I dont puchase a HOP game unless there is a walkthrough for it because I ALWAYS need one! I didn't though for this game, I didn't use it once. I wish it was longer though. It was great!
