Yes, it's a difficult game, the hint system is at least poor but I think that if you really want to tease your customers why did you divide the game in chapters? Not enough backtracking in my opinion.
I don't recommend this game.
Mystery Case Files®: Escape from Ravenhearst™ Collector's Edition

This is a game dated 2010 that's why I think it's extraordinaire. It has stunning graphics, good lenght, a lot of backtracking, interesting puzzles.
The only complaint is the number of dialogs that slow down the pace of the game and the sparkles even in advanced mode.

Nice graphics, well done HOS, interesting puzzles, good length, backtracking and no sparkles (neither HOS) in advanced mode. I couldn’t ask for more in a SE.
I recommend this game!
