Even though there isn't much to do and there are too many cutscenes, I love the cohesive structure and the storyline of European Mystery and I like this one. Maybe the previous was better.
This series is extraordinaire and I really love it. In this Dark Parables the graphics, in the first part of the game less than in the others, are stunning and colorful, the FROGs are well done and in this game slightly interactive (first time), the puzzles are nice and finally we have a difficulty custom mode. The complaints are that the storyline is quite fragmented so there's less backtracking and the lenght is honestly too short, just four hours including the bonus gameplay. I've liked more the story of the bonus game than the one of the main game.
Even though the graphics don’t seem to be perfect I love the structure of this game, with two related and interactive characters perfectly blended and a lot of backtracking. Lenght of five hours and half in custom mode.
I recommend this game!

Unfinished Tales: Illicit Love Collector's Edition
After the Raven Queen crashes her wedding, Thumbelina must save her prince to reclaim her happy ending!
Well, the graphics are really stunning and the HOS are well done but the storyline is quite fragmented and this brings disruption to the plot. And in a game I'd like to know how many collectibles all in are meant to be found.
I don't recommend this game.

The Secrets of Arcelia Island
Unravel The Secrets of Arcelia Island as you, your father, and a small crew set off on this dangerous expedition!
Even though the graphics aren't perfect and the HOS aren't interactive I like the structure of this game, with a lot of backtracking, collectible notes and no sparkles in advanced mode.
The graphics are very good but for me the overall rating of the visual quality and the level of challenge aren't the highest because of the lack of full screen option on my laptop and the presence of sparkles even in advanced mode. Anyway this is a fantastic game with very well done and varied HOS, interesting puzzles, lenght and backtracking. One of the best of the series.
Nice graphics, well done HOS (even though just slightly interactive), interesting puzzles, length, a good amount of backtracking and morphing objects. The only complaint are the sparkles for the HOS even in expert mode.
Time has passed since the first Bluebeard was developed but very little seems to have changed: yet no full screen option, quite basic graphics and a poorly responsive mouse function. Not a buy for me.
