This would be my vote for the best Hidden object/adventure/puzzle game of the year. A hands down winner! Even the loading screen had my eyes wide open.
The story line is original and you really get sucked into it with the first cinematic which is very well done. I wont spoil it for anyone just know that the ending leaves you hungry for more and perhaps maybe even a hint at a sequel? Well, i hope so, and i'll keep my fingers crossed.
The graphics, visuals and art is very well done. You really get the feel of an abandoned rural town thats been stricken by illness, something straight out of a novel that really sends your imagination spiraling in all directions. The video cut scenes were excellently done, you can tell there was a lot of attention to detail put into them.
The music and sound effects are nicely done as well. Everything from the footsteps as you tread from one scene to the next and the music which has a sort of modern feel and in my opinion is very appropriate for the game. the voices and dialogues were not corny or overdone in any way and really adds to the feel and excitement of the game.
As for the game play, i give it two thumbs up only because i dont have a third thumb, but if i did that would be up too. The puzzles are fairly easy to solve on your own. I liked the fact that all the in game tasks made sense and werent too far fetched at all. The HOG scenes are unique in that each item you find is used in the scene to find other items. I havent seen any other title that has this similar HOG style but i enjoyed it, and the way it was done just makes you appreciate that fact that a lot of thought must have gone into making this game.
As with most HOG/adventure games, you have a journal that tracks your progress and keeps you up to speed with the story, there are also several video cut scenes that can be played back. There is a map in your journal but clicking on a location doesnt take you there, so you'll have to get to where you want to go the hard way. The game also has a hint button but i never had to use it, the game is actually quite easy but very enjoyable.
Over all i loved it and my only regret was not getting the collector's edition but i dont think i'll make the same mistake with the sequel (hopefully).
I recommend this game!

After reading the summary of the game i thought it was interesting enough to give it a try, so i downloaded the game and at first i thought it was pretty good. The artwork was very well done and the game had an original story. However, it quickly became too cliche and boring. There were certain things in the storyline that could have been better depicted in the game. As for the visuals... absolutely HORRIBLE! im sorry, but i have to be honest. It looked like the video cut scenes were made with a VGA cellphone camera, speaking and lip movement were completely out of sync. These cut scenes make dubbed Chinese kung fu movies seem oscar worthy. The costumes looked like bed sheets from Walmart and i wouldnt be surprised if that statement was accurate.
But if you can look past all that, the game play was okay. There was a good balance of HOG scenes, puzzles and tasks. However, towards the end of middle to the end of the game, solutions to in game tasks seem too far fetched and too ridiculous to actually be feasible so you probably wont end up thinking about it and will have to use a walkthrough like i did.
All together, based on this game, i dont think i'll be investing any more on the other titles in the series. I think there are other games out there that are better.
I don't recommend this game.

This has to be one of my all time favorite games on Big Fish! I loved the game overall. The attention to detail in this game really paid off and made me appreciate it even more. The visuals were simple yet impressive, the artwork was beautiful and creative and the sounds were down right creepy! A perfect combination for a real winner. As you play you'll feel like your in the world of the X-men, only during the world war I or II era. But the storyline is original. No fancy twists in the plot but its enough to keep you hooked.
One of the features that i really like in the game was a special HOG scene that i havent seen in any other series. In this particular scene you have to match items in your inventory to associated items on the screen (ex. if you have a match in your inventory, look for a lamp or cigarettes on the screen).
Another thing that sets this game apart from other titles is the attention to detail. Clicking on certain objects can make a certain sound and scare you in your seat, clicking on portraits and paintings can give you a little surprise too. I like that little addition, it makes the game more enjoyable.
Challenges and puzzles are fairly straightforward and easy to solve but still maintains a decent level of fun. HOG scenes and well done, objects are well hidden but not impossible to find on your own. You wont have to use the "hint" button or a walkthrough to get you though this game. Its very doable. My only criticism is that it felt a bit short.
The collectors edition is definitely worth it as it gives you additional game play where you are accidentally teleported to the island on the lake.
In the game, you journal has tabs for keeping track of the story and clues and also a tab for a specific list of objectives that you need to accomplish. This feature was very helpful to me. On the same corner theres a "Top Secret" folder section where you collect files from different locations that gives you a small video clip of the story and character development. This was also a very nice touch to the game. There is a Hint button but i never used it. You can skip puzzles that you must obviously be too lazy to solve, because all the puzzles are very easy and very doable, i never had to skip anything.
Overall this is a great game with hours of fun. The extra game play makes the collectors edition worth it. If your looking for a great HOG/adventure game, stop thinking and click "Buy it".
I recommend this game!

I loved how the hidden object scenes had a twist to them that made it more interesting to play. The puzzles themselves were pretty simple but fun although some may be a bit time consuming.
The visuals and artwork was amazing and the game ran smoothly. The story was just a bit too cheesy for my taste and it felt a bit rushed towards the end. The beginning of the story created a picture of a world that had a lot of potential and i would have liked to see more of it. The music is good but becomes redundant after a while.
In short this is a great game, i love the hidden object scenes the most since they were unique and unlike any other game that ive played.
I recommend this game!

Whatever the creators of the Drawn series are on... I want some! This is by far the best series on BigFish games and a must have for all casual games young an old. The only bad thing i have to say about this game, is that it has an ending. I enjoyed playing it. Just like the previous game, the artwork, music and story will blow your mind. The world of Drawn really is mystical and magical. I would have liked to see more games in the series but for now i guess i'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.
I recommend this game!

The world of Drawn is what hooked me to this game. Im not really a big fan of adventure games, i personally prefer Hidden object games and puzzles more, but theses elements can be found in this game. The artwork was what attracted me to it the most. I love how the game centers around the art and how playing the game actually makes you feel like you're in a different world altogether. The story is amazing and original and everyone from children to adults can appreciate it. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible and the game play itself was excellent.
Conclusion: this game has the best artwork, game play, story and even sound track, than any other game on BigFish. I would recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking about downloading it, stop thinking and just do it.
I recommend this game!

I just finished playing this game and i have to say it was one of the best hidden object games that i've played. Without a doubt the best part about this game was the story. A game's story line can either make or break a game and this one was pretty well done. I like how you're not the only person in the world and there are different characters to talk to, however, i did think that some of the roles were a bit corny or over done and the artwork for the characters wasnt exceptionally impressive. The environment was much richer and more detailed than the characters themselves. But this isnt a major downside to the game.
The puzzles were enjoyable and not stressful, and the hidden object scenes were just as fun.
The ending of the game basically sets up the second part of the series which i am looking forward to playing. So there is a continuing story line which is always a plus.
Conclusion: A great game, very enjoyable with an ending that leaves you hungry for the second part of the series.
I recommend this game!

The story line and the way it unfolded was so well done that it feels like you've actually been transported into the void and are living the game itself. I love how this games got me hooked, so hooked in fact, that the first thing i did after playing it was to play it again!
I finished the game on my first try without the help of walkthroughs, strategy guides, or in-game hints. The puzzles are fairly challenging but can be solved in a relatively short amount of time. This doesnt mean that the puzzles arent challenging enough to entertain you, it simply means you dont need a PhD in 5 fields to play the game.
The game is well paced and the story line makes sense and keeps you thinking. The environment was very well done and sets off your imagination on a transatlantic flight. Even the sound track is good!
Conclusion: The game has its fair share of puzzles and hidden object scenes with a great story to tell. Whether youre a beginner or an advanced player, this game is something anyone would enjoy.
My only regret is i did not get the collector's edition of this game.
I recommend this game!

After completing mystery trackers: The Void, which i absolutely loved i wanted to get another game in the series. Unfortunately, Raincliff wasnt what i hoped it would be. There are simply too many things going on at the same time that it becomes too confusing to keep track of all the items that you need and what to use them for. There are several steps to finding one item and unlocking one puzzle and before actually solve a puzzle, 2-3 more need to be solved before you can finish the first. I found the confusion to be more annoying than entertaining. Also the video log to keep track of your progress isnt as great as it sounds. I prefer the original journal that all other games in this category have.
The story was interesting and original and the effects were pretty good. There were more puzzles that hidden object games, making this game a bit unbalanced.
In short, this isnt a game that i would play again, at least not for a while. If you're looking for a game to pass the time between work and study, this ISN'T it, as you seriously need to sit down and make time for this game, because it is not easy at all and sometimes it feels like it is impossible to solve without a walkthrough.
I don't recommend this game.
