This is the game that got me interested in the Mystery Case Files games. I bought this mainly due to the fact that the story was something I would enjoy playing and that the setting is in Louisiana.
The graphics are clear, which helps when you play a HOS. The live actors are a nice change. And the superstition and twists make this game very fun to play.
This game is as good, if not better, than Hallowed Legends: Samhain! The graphics and voice overs are great! The story is incredible. And the characters and locations...wow!
And just when you thought everything was over...the CE's bonus gameplay picks up soon after the main game ended. And the end let's you choose two endings: save the woman or defeat the evil for good. You can only choose one.
I really enjoyed this game. You leave to find someone and end up in the middle of something you never expected. In your quest to find answers and save that person, you travel through many locations.
The graphics are amazing. The story is incredible...I love this game!
I thought this game was a little scary...and it was full of suspense. When I thought nothing could surprise me after a while of playing, it pulled something that did.
The story is exciting. You're trying to find a girl so you can return her toy to her, but the town seems deserted. You find one old lady, but...well, she doesn't stick around. You think you're alone, but it soon becomes apparent that you aren't.
The game was great, it had a decent length, and the voice over was good. If you want a scary game to play, I recommend this one!
(My only complaint is that it cut off where it did, but the CE does continue that story...)
It's the same as the other games of the series: You're trapped in a cemetery and have to help souls find peace in order to leave. But I'm not saying that it was boring or too repetitive. There were some new elements: You get caught by a gang after witnessing a crime and they take you to an island, intending for you to die there. But things don't happen as planned. There's a stranger with a boat who will help you leave if you bring him 3 crystals (which you get after each 'adventure').
As this is a CE, you get extra gameplay. You end up helping the stranger this time. I enjoyed it.
The game is a decent length and the voice overs are good.
The story: you've moved to a new town with your daughter and are checking out a school she wants to go to. After you arrive, she's kidnapped by a witch for the obvious 'EVIL' motive. You run around the campus trying to save her #*with the help of a spirit or two*# while learning the story of the witch and how all of this happened. The game is a decent length and I enjoyed it.
Being a CE, you have the bonus gameplay: A demon kidnaps your daughter and is trying to take over the world...you go and try to save her. It's a little short, in my opinion, but it's interesting too.
I don't know what I expected when I downloaded the demo. Maybe something exciting..or...really, I don't know. All I do know is that this game was awful. You start in the park late in the day (might even be considered night) because your friend lost her earring and wants to find it NOW. And so, a quick Hidden Object Scene later, your talking again, there's a loud rustle in the bushes, you both get scared and then...vampire shows up with his head in your friend's neck and runs off with her. The next day you head over to a Private Detective after other detectives laugh at your claim...
If you're really interested in this game and want to form your own opinion, I'm begging you to try the demo before you consider buying the game. It might just save your money.
I don't recommend this game.

Criminal Minds
Join an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds!
...well, there could have been more cases. There were only two, which was a bit disappointing. And there was no 'voice over'. Those are probably my only complaints.
The game is wonderful. You end up playing as each member of the BAU team as the game/story progresses. The hint button is a great help, even helping to explain what you need to do to complete a task. And in each hidden object scene, there are 3 objects that have their names scrambled on the list. You can try to solve what they are and find them or you can find the question marks in the scene to unscramble them for you.
The cases are not short, but are rather long, which is a plus. There are some twists, but hey, this is Criminal Minds! :)
It's a great game that's worth the price. I recommend it to any Criminal Minds fan, or even a person who enjoys this sort of game.
Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
We start the game on Earth. A temple has been discovered that was once a part of Atlantis. The player goes into the temple (which has been surrounded by a dome and drained of water and has oxygen pumped in) to find a locket. But just as she finds it, something happens (not trying to spoil it for you, but it's rather dramatic...#.
And now we skip forward into the far off future...and on a ship heading for Mars. The player awakens just before the ship makes it to Mars and lands. She finds no one there to greet her, not even some workers. Turns out something awful had occured and she starts to work on finding a solution. Towards the end there is a surprising twist...but I won't spoil that for you.
Due to this being a CE, there is bonus content, including the extra gameplay. It takes place sometime before the main story #but not too far off). It gives a nice prequel to the main game.
Your friend, Mary, disappears and it's up to you to save her. Uncover an exotic land with unearthly secrets as you find and help your friend leave the flying island.
It starts off with a well-used story: Your friend is missing and you need to find/save her. But the creators of the game managed to put their own spin on it and create something good.
It switches between two designs during the game, using a comic-like style for cut scenes. It was a nice little twist. The voice overs were nicely done as well.
