Review is based on the entire SE game. I thought this was the best of the Anomoly series, although I thought they were all excellent games. The story was pretty good and kept me interested throughout. Graphics were very good; sharp and very colorful and well done. Good cut scenes and the voice overs were good. A good mix of HOS and puzzles. There are three types of HOS and they were well done and not that difficult. If you like long games, you'll love this one. Lots to do and plenty of locations to visit. A map would have been useful as there are plenty of locations to visit so you need to do a little remembering. Puzzles ran the range of easy to a bit difficult, but you can always skip a puzzle if needed, and I would not recommend this game for beginners. All in all a nice challenging game at times, which will keep you plenty busy for a while.
Review is based on the entire game (SE). Reviews based on the demo only are useless to me and should be avoided. How can you review an entire game based on just a small part of the game? This is probably the most enjoyable game I've played all year. Everything is just right in this one. Graphics are sharp and very realistic. The storyline totally dominates this adventure and is very well thought out and keeps you thinking all the way through. HOS are interactive and spaced out very well so that it does, not become annoying and the mini games range from easy to a bit difficult. This game feels like a murder/mystery adventure game all the way until the end and you feel like you are an active participant. You can tell a lot of thought went into this one. The cut scenes are realistic and extremely well done. I honestly can't believe that anyone would give this a bad review, but some people seem to find fault in the littlest things. I loved this game and if you like to think a little and not just go through the motions, you'll love this one. Thanks Bigfish! I hope we see more high quality games like this one.
I was extremely dissapointed that in order to fully complete this game it is necessary to play the collectors edition. My review is based on playing the SE version. In addition to the incomplete ending, this game was way too easy. No need for a walkthrough with this one. The mini games were so easy a 5 year old could solve them. The HOS were interactive and big junk piles. They were also easy. The cut scenes were good, using real actors and the graphics were OK. I don't recommend buying the SE unless you don't mind feeling as if you only played 3/4 of a game.
There have been some real good games lately, but this one is the best I've played in a while. Definitely a buy! The story is about the family dog being taken away by wild, evil dogs. Of course, you've got to find the pooch. I was impressed by the graphics, the snow scenes are awesome. Good cutscenes and the characters look kinda cute. A good mix of HOS and mini games. HOS were fair and not that difficult and the mini games aren't that difficult either. This is just a real fun game. Good map and 3 levels of difficulty. Hints recharge fairly quickly. The game does play widescreen, regardless of what one reviewer said. It's obvious when game play begins, just give it a minute or two. Good length too. Good job developers and BFG.
I would say that this game was real good, just short of being great. The story was good. A woman has to save her sister from being the 5th wife murdered by evil Richard. In order to do this, she must find the 4 rings from his dead wives to set her free. There were lots of locations with many objects to find. Puzzles were of medium difficulty and very solvable, HOS were often very cluttered, which made some difficult but not impossible and the graphics were beautiful and colorful. All in all, many hours of enjoyment and not really for beginners.
I recommend this game!

Funny how some of the lesser known games turn out to be the very best. I've played all the popular "hyped" games and this one is at the very top. The graphics are colorful and stunning with many locations to visit. A good mix of HOS and puzzles (not too many of either) which were a fair challenge, and a long game at that. Many beautiful locations to visit with lots to do. A good hint system and a wonderful story which leaves you feeling good at the end. This was a great adventure.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!
So far I'm enjoying this game. The graphics are well done and I like that the HOS are a bit different and challenging in that almost all the items are interactive. The story is a bit of the same...must find out what happened to all the residents who have have gone missing. Voice over is excellent, cut scenes are just drawings, no live action at all. Also, the game does not fill the entire screen which should not happen with newer games. However lots to do and good game length. A good game, but not excellent.
Challenge yourself in the role of the scientist-historian-scholar of ancient civilizations and mystical legends and save your friend from the Demon of Darkness!
This game has it all. A story that keeps you interested all the way through, terrific graphics, HO scenes that were clear and very fair, and some of them you had to replace the objects where they belong, and very good puzzles and mini-games. Very long game, could have been a CE. Not for beginners though. I wish all adventure games were this good.
Welcome to Top Secret Finders. Your first mission is to save a small town, uncover the truth about a government conspiracy and stop the villain in his tracks!
What a surprise this game was. A nice change from the usual ghosts in dark mansion games. This was a good challenge, but not overwhelmingly difficult. Just the right amount of HOS and mini games. HOS were well done with a few tough items to find, but I like the challenge. Excellent hint system and nice graphics. The storyline was very good and easy to follow. Lots of different locations and good length. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this game!
