I realize the area covered is small BUT in your next game PLEASE include a MAP. Some of us old folks forget things and a map is essential. Also, a few more instructions would be helpful. I think I'm quite intuitive but I had to use the HINT button in this game more than any other in the past 3 years.
Great family game, kids should enjoy it. Also the young at heart. 4 modes of play, 12 morphing objects, 36 puzzle pieces. I will be purchasing but not today as I own all the other Christmas games.
I beta'd this back in October. I've purchased all of the DP games - my favorite being the Little Mermaid one which I gave 5 stars. This one seemed graineyer than previous ones. I think it could have been better with a little more work; sometimes it was unclear as to what to do next. I suggest you definitely try this before you purchase; don;t be fooled by all the 5 stars.
4 levels of play, 24 petals to collect, pictures of orphans to collect, 21 morphing objects; other CE stuff. I really enjoyed this game. It had a decent spooky quality without being overdone. I play casual and it was doable without using the SG. I recommend that you give it a try.
Don't know why you rejected my first review so I'll try again. The actions you must perform are illogical. The pace is exceedingly slow. The map is not at all helpful. Basically this is just a very bad game. Not even worth a punch
I don't recommend this game.

Grim Tales: Threads of Destiny Collector's Edition
Can you free Jackie’s parents from their deadly fates?
I played demo in Casual Mode (there are 4). Good points: visuals good, fun to find morphing objects, map functioned well and was informative. The storyline had possibilities but the stupid things you had to do to get there was ridiculous. I've been playing BFGs for 4 years and there was a definite upswing to the games. This game just makes no sense. I've purchased 6 of the previous Grim Tales and find this one the most disappointing. Newbies might find this game acceptable but my vote is for Grim Tales: The Final Suspect CE. Give them a go.
Storyline was good. Hos were a bit confusing. Visuals were fine. No morphs and few collectibles. I hate to SKIP or use Hints. In order to dispel dark shadows (which you do a lot) you have to charge the crystal ball gizmo. To charge you have to rearrange stars so no lines cross. This is one of the puzzles that I just don't do well (in any game). Therefore, I will not be purchasing an otherwise pretty and somewhat fun game. I do recommend you give it a try.
I have purchased several other Amaranthine games, the first being the best. I played entire Demo in Casual. The storyline was uninteresting. This had to be explained with many scene descriptions - too wordy for me. The characters were cartoonish and did not fit the scenes. Beatrice has a smirk on her face? The graphics are either crisp or fuzzy. Not very many HOs in the demo. Puzzles were about the only interesting thing. MAP makes you click twice: once where you want to go, then again in the picture of the scene. Duplicity is not only not interesting but annoying. All in all, not worth the price. Give it a try, if you like puzzles you might go for it.
Yea, this one might be on the easy side but the graphics are beautiful and I actually cared about the story. I only buy CEs because my memory is awful and this met my expectations. It had 12 mythical creatures to find; 32 stained glass pieces (my guess is after you finish you assemble the puzzle); and each scene had morphing objects - Love all of these! In some of the more complex puzzles you can select Hard or Casual. I just finished the main game and am Reviewing before I start the Bonus. Give this game a try! Cudos to the devs.
