Zuma's Revenge is the sequel to the great marble popper Zuma Deluxe from 2003. You shoot colored marbles at the incoming marble chains to destroy them. After you get enough points, new balls stop coming in, and you have to clear the chains before they reach the mouth of doom. To get the points faster you can shoot at bonus items, make chain and gap bonuses, etc. The game is pretty fast paced and some levels even require you to jump between pads, but have no fear, from time to time bonuses appear on the marbles, which can really turn the tide. Every 10 levels you encounter a boss, which requires some tactics to beat. After you complete the main mode, challenges and the gauntlet await. The graphics of the game are nice, I especially liked the underwater levels. A really good sequel to the great original.
I recommend this game!

Puzzle Quest is a excellent choice for match 3 players which also love RPG games. The gameplay is divided into two parts. On the map you travel between cities, buy items, collect gold, get quests, spend skill points and so on.
The other part is battle which is a match 3 duel between you and the opponent. You match gems to get mana (colored gems) for spells or attack directly (skulls). There are several classes available which have different spells and this also holds for the enemies. The battles are therefore very different, and since you and the enemies can have different items and resistances, you have to adapt the strategy for each enemy.
The story is full of clichés and with all the sidequests it lasts for 20+ hours. In my opinion, the story is stretched too much with unnecessary repeating tasks, and it should really be 10-15 hours long to be perfect.
The game has some annoyances:
1. the AI cheats, and it cheats a lot! It will get insane combos and it might beat you when you at least expect it. However, after defeat, nothing is lost and you can try beating the enemy again.
2. When traveling, you will encounter enemies and you will need to battle them to pass. Since they appear really often, you will quickly get annoyed. To overcome this, capture a mount ant train it, then you will be able to avoid battles.
I highly recommend this game to RPG lovers, but others might want to stay away from it, since is pretty complex.
I recommend this game!

Bookworm Adventures is a fantastic word game, suitable even for non-native english speakerrs. You get a grid of characters and must create a word from it to damage the enemy. To enhance your attack you can spell bonus words, use gem combinations and/or drink potions. The enemies become more tough as you play and have certain passive defensive abilites. So you must play cleverly and spell longer words. They have tons of attacks that damage you, prevent you from attacking, lock the grid and so on. If you get beaten up, you have a chance to collect gems and potions in mini-games. You also progress after defeating the enemy and improve your health, defense or attack. After completing the main game you can play mini-games or battle the enemies in the Arena. Certainly a lot of fun.
I recommend this game!

This is the first hidden object game I've played. You search for clues and uncover diary entries to solve the secret of Ravenhearst. Some clues are very well hidden in the rooms filled with all sorts of garbage. The thing that bothered me is that you revisit the rooms and search for items you already found. Locked rooms are unlocked by solving all sorts of crazy puzzles -> this is the part I enjoyed the most. If you are stuck, you have series of hints and even a skip puzzle button, but I avoided this one. You can play time limited game, to add to the pressure and make it more fun. The atmosphere is pretty spooky and fits into the story. The game isn't so great visually, because the objects are pretty blurry. Overall you will get a decent long game that could be greatly improved by better texture quality.
I recommend this game!

Atlantis Sky Patrol has some nice ideas, that make it stand out from other marble-poppers:
-some levels have moving parts that deflect the shot marbles
-some levels have curved rails which make aiming harder
-in higher levels there are moving covers that prevent clearing the static marbles
-there is a two player (mouse party) mode built in
-there is an upgrade system
The last thing is also the problematic one, because it makes the game way too easy.
Experienced players should stay away from it, because it will be probably too easy for them even without upgrading, but it might be a good start for newcomers to this genre.
