I loved this game. Perfect for relaxing engaging play. The story was a great lead in to introduce the quests. The games along the way are varied and absorbing. As my usual favs are HOG and HOG Aventures, I was especially enamored by the ones included.
I liked it so much I bought three of the previous without trying them. Sadly, they were not nearly as enjoyable, bering much less imaginative and rather more geared for a juvenal audience.
I hope the developers were publish more like Blue Moon.
I own the entire Lost Lands series so far, but I hope not the last! Stories of the First Brotherhood is, I hope, only the first of many. There's so much more that can be related about Marron's rise and to his friendship with Folner, more about his apprenticeship with Cassandra, I'd like to see more about how he became the caretaker of the Tower of Five Worlds, how he was involved in forming the group that took on the Ice Giant, and so much more.
As to this game: The story, all three chapters, have great story lines, wonderful mini games in just the right amount and just the right level of skill and interest, the beyond and collection items are well hidden, but excessively so.
I'm so disappointed. I first encountered morphing objects in the First House of 1000 doors. I liked them so much, I looked for them in every game before I chose to by them. I play the first two games again and again. I was so excited when I saw there was a fourth. I bought Serpents Flame sight unseen because of them and was crushed. Now here's another. I'm going to try it, but don't have high hopes. I'll update this review then.
