ecco un altro caso in cui una trama molto originale ed intrigante, che potrebbe dare origine ad un'avventura davvero unica se sviluppata nel modo giusto, purtroppo si perde a causa di un gioco strutturato male...La grafica e il suono sono anche carini ma il gioco è tremendamente statico, lento, senza ritmo ne azione...dialoghi a fumetti senza audio, personaggi fissi, scene immobili, azioni macchinose e ingarbugliate da compiere, ripetitività di scenari e luoghi..Non ho nemmeno finito il demo..l'idea era davvero buona ma purtroppo lo svolgimento decisamente no...
Mi trasferisco per un po' sul sito in inglese, dove ci sono tutti i nuovi eccezionali giochi dell'Elephant games, che meritano davvero! Speriamo arrivino presto anche qui...

Elephant games never disappoint! Another fantastic and original story, with stunning graphics, very good sound, funny helping friends, amazing interactive HOS and nice puzzles, some on the easy side some on the challenging one! A lot of beautiful locations to explore, many things to do in every one, goblins to collect and achievements to get! Is a fluid game, easy to follow, but also making you think a bit from time to time to figure out what to do or where to go! Excellent Bonus Chapter, mostly in new areas, almost long as the main game! (Is only my impression or this devs in last relases seem to put more energy in Bonus, making it longer and almost better then the first game???). Anyway, it took me more then 5 hours to complete the full adventure in hardcore mode (no hints or skip button) and I liked a lot the "happy ending", with the evil Hel becaming almost friendly....Really a fantastic and enjoyable game, worth the CE price! We wait for the next one!

è un gioco molto semplice, nonostante la trama macabra possa far pensare il contrario...Premetto che mi sono fermata al demo ma, in questo caso come in altri, quello che ho visto nella prima ora di gioco non mi ha invogliato all'acquisto..Trovo che sia un gioco poco coinvolgente dal punto di vista della sfida e della difficoltà, non ci sono oggetti nascosti (che piacciano o meno dipende dai gusti ma è utile saperlo), i puzzle sono adatti ai bambini e le azioni richieste spesso sono davvero poco logiche e troppo fantasiose..le musiche sono claustrofobiche è c'è qualche scena un po' cruda che potrebbe infastidire chi è un po' più impressionabile...Do 3 stelle invece di 2 perchè la grafica è bella, l'ambientazione interessante e soprattutto per il simpaticissimo gatto ologramma. Forse potrebbe essere un buon gioco per chi si avvicina al genere o per chi gioca esclusivamente per relax, anche se la trama in questo caso non si addice molto, ma se cercate sfide appassionanti meglio cercare altrove..Ciò premesso, se vi va provatelo comunque, spesso le opinioni sono diverse...

i'm still shocked after this game...yes, unfortunately i bought it..luckily with a special offer! After the demo i was intrigued because the story looked interesting and the gameplay very challenging. Even if the graphic was so so and i did not like the cartoon monologues mixed with the real actor's movies i was attracted by the particular HOS, wich did not close after the first list but stay open for future passages, and by the puzzles, complicates and with no hints available. Big mistake...at the end i found myself hunging around ONLY for dirty and dark basements, full of disgusting things, searching for tools to repare electrical machines (if i decide to change my job i'm sure i would have a brillant future as an electrician after playing this game!) and, after not more then 2 hours the game suddently ended in a really no sense way, making me realise then the whole story was completely absurd and sick. If is not the worst game ever played, deserves surely a place in the top 3 of my personal list of "games to forget".
I don't recommend this game.

with a very particular storyline, really interesting the idea to base the game on adventures taken from classical novels! Excellent graphics like always in the Elephant standards(loved the helping owlet!!), easy puzzles but original and not boring, funny hidden objects scenes...i did not give the 5 stars because I found it a bit too short, round about 3,5 hours in hard mode, but beside that is a very good game which really worth a try.
I recommend this game!

sono ancora incredula dopo aver concluso il gioco..si, ahimè..l'ho comprato, per fortuna con un'offerta...Devo ammettere che dopo l'ora di prova mi aveva intrigato perchè mi sembrava una sfida impegnativa nonchè una storia interessante..Non mi era piaciuta particolarmente la grafica, poco brillante, e l'intervallare i filmati con attori veri ai monologhi a fumetti ma mi avevano attratto gli scenari a oggetti nascosti, che non si chiudono una volta trovati tutti quelli della lista ma che rimangono aperti per successivi passaggi per recuperare attrezzi utili, #non indicati# e i puzzle, senza istruzioni e complessi. Grosso errore....alla fine mi sono trovata a girovagare ESCLUSIVAMENTE per bui sotterranei pieni di robaccia disgustosa alla ricerca di oggetti per riparare impianti elettrici e a risolvere enigmi per far funzionare astrusi marchingegni #se decidessi di cambiare lavoro dopo questo gioco ho un futuro garantito come elettricista!# e di punto in bianco, dopo un paio d'ore, il gioco è finito in maniera completamente assurda e insensata...Non solo lo sconsiglierei...lo vieterei proprio!

10 minuti di demo mi sono completamente innamorata di questo gioco! L'ho completato in modalità difficile in 6 ore e mezza quindi è decisamente lungo ma avrei continuato a giocare per ore..mi è spiaciuto un sacco terminare la mia avventura in compagnia dell'affascinante Conte e del suo sgangherato ma divertentissimo aiutante! Storia intrigante, bellissima grafica, tantissimi ambienti diversi e ricostruiti alla perfezione da esplorare, modalità di gioco spassosissima e varia, dialoghi un po' lunghi ma piacevoli da seguire, musica adatta all'atmosfera. Perfetto mix di coloratissime e incantevoli scene a oggetti nascosti e puzzle originali e divertentissimi, un paio anche tosti e che mi hanno impegnato parecchio. Anche se è un'edizione standard, inoltre, ci sono tanti simpatici trofei da collezionare, anche se per ottenerne alcuni credo sia necessaria l'Edizione Speciale, che c'è solo in inglese e che dai commenti letti credo sia fantastica. E' un gioco davvero stupendo, superiore a tante declamate Collector Edition che costano 3 o 4 volte di più, e che entra sicuramente nella mia top 3 dei giochi preferiti di tutti i tempi...e ne ho giocati tanti. Straconsigliato!

Storyline was really very interesting and original, based on the famous novel "The Name of the Rose", and could have made of this game a masterpiece if all the rest would have been on the same standard. Unfortunately that was not...graphics are poor, background and characters static, gameplay repetitive and not challenging. Puzzles are too easy and you have no HOS, that you need for your adventure you can find directly in the scenes, always the same 3 or 4, clicking randomly on things following your intuition or simply the luck. If developed by Elephnat or ERS i'm sure could have been a terrific game, but like this is only very disapponting... what a shame...

Excellent game, based on a very interesting and original stroyline and setted in the magic Paris.. and you can really have the feeling of! Graphics are fantastic and the sound magic, all fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the "Ville Lumière". The game is intriguing and hooks you from the beginning on, is fluid but makes you also think about where to go on what to do next (that i like!)...there are a lot of beautiful locations to visit, HOG are very funny and puzzles, most on the difficult side, are original and make work the brain. I loved our heping friend Gladriel, very nice and funny! The main game took me more then 5 hours, playing hardcore (no skip or hint button available) and relaxed, reading the story and the dialogues. There are also a lot of achievements to get. The only thing did not convince me was the bonus chapter, round about 40 minutes of gameplay not so challenging or interesting, a sort of flash back on the beginning of the story of the cathedral...Beside that, is a 5 stars game you cannot miss!
I recommend this game!

but nothing to really write home about...Interesting and original the storyline, nice the setting in the mediterranean island.. as an Italian i can say then you can feel quite well my native Country's ambience during the gameplay. The graphics, even if not bad, could have been better..the music is a bit repetitive but not annoying. It's a linear game, easy to follow, not so difficult to figure out what to do or where to go, funny interactives HOS and easy puzzles..The whole game took me round about 4 hours, playing hard mode and slowly, reading the diary and listening to the characters. A good game, not really challenging but ok for some relaxing hours.
I recommend this game!
