Same characters, same graphics, same game as the original Emerald Solitaire--EXCEPT you have a limited number of lives based on success, and then you are required to pay for more chances. Disappointed Big Fish has introduced In Game Purchase games since we already pay for the initial installation.

Funny, I always start out really proud of myself managing time so well and getting all the tasks done, but after a while I start getting annoyed with the family!! No sooner has Nanny gotten all her tasks done than someone goes in and messes it up! I know that's the game, but I find this negates all the fun after about 20 minutes of play! Regret getting this one.

I liked this one. It didn't take too long to complete, but the trip was fun,and easily playable repeatedly. I might suggest you pick it up on a 'special', but this is one I can go back to frequently.

Whatever fun this might have been, the graphics are so poor it really takes away from the game. Sorry I spent the money on this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I have had this game for several years now, and it never fails to entertain. While I like HO games, they are pretty much once and done. OE has limitless playing opportunities. You can mix up how many barges you buy, how many different types of cargo, and even design and/or download new puzzles. Best game for the money ever. I keep looking for something comparable, but so far, this is the best.
Perhaps this version of "The Rise of Atlantis"--still one of the best Match 3 games offered, though older--was supposed to be geared for a younger audience, but if you liked RoA, do not waste your time on this. The tiles are very poorly drawn, the additional HO vignettes are no fun, add nothing to the game, and difficult because the graphics are so poor. Big disappointment. I do not recommend this game.

I only played about the first five levels of the trial version, being a big fan of the SG games, but seems to be a repeat of the first one. Okay if you've never played the first, but the "items" looked liked cockroaches to me and the "Meanies" like weird bugs. Although the graphics have been greatly improved over time, I found the ick factor off-putting and had to delete it.
While this had a fairly decent mix of clicks, mouse movements, I found the storyline annoying. Seriously, turn people over on their beachtowels? focus the binoculars for them? Much like the Nanny games, eventually, I just got ticked off that the characters were so darn "needy" and just didn't want to deal with them. The graphics were pretty crude,
