I have played many RPG's over the years and this one is, in my opinion, similar to some of the old ones, imagine Aveyond 1. The goals aren't always clear so you have to use trial and error to figure it out. The map doesn't come up at all on my windows 7 laptop. The characters are ok, battles are linear with no real challenge on medium (I can only imagine how boring it would be if you played on easy)
The game starts with Lily and Sasha in the crypt and through dialogue and a lot of bouncing around it tells how Sasha has become possessed and Lily and her party go in search of her. You plant flowers and grab thorns along the way to get from place to place. The battles are one time only, so you need to fight every time you get a chance. Money is slow in coming and talking to NPC's along the way can help sometimes.
You can only have 3 people fighting at any time and at this point (1 hour into the game) I have 5 characters in my party. There is nothing to tell you what items are for ( I have cloth scraps and wood in my items list and no idea what they are for) but there are save books everywhere. I saw 5 in the first 10 minutes.
For the novice RPG player this is a diversion but for the serious player I doubt they would find any enjoyment in it. This is definitely a good starting point for a RPG if you don't mind trial and error to figure it out.

To me, this is a fast paced game that has many aspects not found in other time management games. The ability to use the "weather" to grow trees, crops, destroy swamps and fight enemies make it worth the time to download and play. The music is soothing and the graphics are ok. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the story line, but in time management games it often doesn't mean a lot to me. I am considering buying this game as it did get my interest. I only wish there was a "casual" mode and a strategy guide.
I recommend this game!
