I am now firmly addicted to this game. My review title says it all. This can get frantic with a dozen or so balls whizzing around. You need to keep them in play and collect the coins and gems (to get a good score) while avoiding the not so nice power ups. I keep playing to try and get more lives in the arcade version as this really ups the score at the end. Only managed 70 so far. Graphics are fairly basic but it doesn't need to be great as the gameplay is so good. Would like to see more from this maker.
A dreadful game. The bat is slow to respond and doesn't hit the ball off at the angle you are trying for, any upgrades last for 6 seconds and it is just not good to play.
Wow! This is a great brick busting game. It's not easy at first to get used to the play but then it grabs you. You control how many balls are in play (and what size they are too) and it can get manic but it doesn't get so fast it become unplayable. Lots of bonus balls are available and if you build up to the gold balls you have several balls in play at once. Might sound disconcerting but it really does give you an adrenalin rush. Excellent game.
I love this game. The match 3 is just a part of it, mixed in with a storyline with puzzles that you sometimes really have to think about. I finished it in a few days but was so hooked I sat playing for ages at a time, just trying to get the next clue or object and work out what to do with it. The match 3 is generally pretty easy but this game is so much more. I hope there's a second game in the pipeline.
I really enjoyed playing this game to start with. With the arrival of the totally unnecessary sand squares however it became a bit annoying. Once the unremovable sandstorm squares came in the game just become incredibly frustrating and basically unplayable as all you're doing is battling those. Had those things been in the demo I would never have wasted my money.
I nearly bought this straight out because of the name but I'm glad I tried it first. Gameplay is rough and not enjoyable. The stars and explosives move around willy nilly and the good things from the first game are missing. They even have a Spot the Difference round in there - Really? I've not been 12 for a long time. How someone can take a game as good as the original Laruaville, make it not good in game 2 and just awful in game 3 is a mystery.
I love Laruaville so had high hopes for the sequel. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The game play is not nearly as good (the good bonuses have been taken out). The story line is good for young children but the game play certainly isn't. The hidden object rounds are still there but at least you can skip them. A chance to shine with this sequel was sadly missed.
I've just finished this game and love it. It can get frustrating towards the end but that's a challenge to beat. Very simple to play and easy to suddenly find you've been at it for two hours. Well worth a look.
I really enjoy playing this game despite the annoying hidden object rounds (some don't even appear until you ask for a hint) but play without them and the game is excellent. The other sub games where you match symbols is actually fun. Love the graphics in the town we're building and the sense of finishing the town is great. Much better than the sequel btw.
I loved this game. Building a nice looking garden became a challenge and the match 3 plays well so it became quite addictive. This is better than the first queen's garden. I've now gone through all the levels but can still continue playing to add things to the garden. Great game.
