Just for me. I'm an average player so I'm looking for some fun, good visuals, intriguing story in games. And Charles Dexter Ward has everything!
Nice graphics (like realistic style), not annoying music and interesting (yes, really interesting if you'll pay attention to it) story.
Haven't bought CE but now think about it...

I think this game is pretty cool.
It has everything I love and everything I need in game: very good graphics, a lot of puzzles, mini-games, fine music and interesting story and bonus chapter (as CE).
The game has nice variety of locations - swamps, hotel, basements, caves, crypt etc. So I wasn't bored playing because of changing environment. Also I really liked weather effects (weather is changing through the game).
I think it's worth to be played.
