I have loved every one in this series of games and this is no exception. Other developers could learn a thing or two about keeping a game fresh and engaging and introducing new elements. (Take note Alice in Wonderland).
I normally love Jet Dogs games but this is truly awful. The timings are all off. You don't have enough time to collect enough resources to upgrade your buildings in order to collect enough resources to finish the game. In other words the time runs out way too quickly.
You are given additional tasks to do to 'enhance characters' but it is not clear what these enhancements are and I've certainly not noticed any within the game. On level 16 it is not even possible to reach the chest to complete the additional task.
There is a wizard that freezes your character if you don't send megara to stop the spell. However the wizard is relentless. You do have a speed bonus, but the only speedy thing about it is that it whizzes round way too fast. If you have already set up your character to to any work other than running, the bonus runs out before you finish chopping/building.
I love time management games and will play relentlessly until I have three stars on each level. I have reached level 20 and am really fed up with it. Time for me to admit defeat and call it quits on this dreadful offering.
There is very little new in this game. Only finding paintings which I found nonsensical. The timings are completely off. I finished the levels really quickly and easily with loads of time left in normal mode. The level of challenge is zero. I've played all the Alice's Wonderland games and the developers seriously need to up their game.
This is my favourite ever time management game. I never follow storylines and I turn the irritating music down to a minimum but I like the gameplay sounds and the graphics are really good. In a lot of TM games every level follows a similar pattern. With this game you never know what you are going to get. There is A LOT going on in each level and you have to be organised and establish in which order to do things to complete the level. The levels are fiendishly difficult, but not impossible to achieve with three stars in the normal mode. I've yet to try the hard mode and suspect at least 2 levels will be impossible, but I intend to give it a try. Some of the buildings you need to build are: A priest's hut in order to do various tasks. An alchemy lab to mix potions A sacrificial table to obtain essential items An obsidian mine Barracks to defeat monsters I hope that the develepors follow this up with an equally interesting and challenging game.
I bought this game without playing the demo because I love the previous Lost Artifacts games. What a mistake. This game is awful. Awful graphics, storyline, gameplay. Having got to the third level I looked at the reviews and can only agree that someone with zero experience of developing quality TM games has been let loose on this. Looks like someone on work experience has devised it. Wish I could get my money back.
I love all the viking TM games and wasn't sure about this. However I loved it so much that I got 3 stars in all levels in the regular and then went back to get 3 stars in all levels in expert mode. Not too difficult so that the levels are achievable (as is the case in some games (elven legend springs to mind), but difficult enough to make you work to achieve your stars. LOVE IT!!!
