The Emperor's son has a mysterious illness. As legendary healer Daiyu, you're called to the palace to save him, but you end up having to save yourself!
The storyline was very unique. The graphics were very nice and the scenery beautiful. The puzzles were way too simple for my taste but would recommend it for beginners who aren't looking for a mind boggling game.
Although the graphics were nice, the puzzles were ridiculously easy and posed no challenge at all. I bought the ce (buyers remorse) and I couldn't find a bonus chapter. This game is REALLY short as well. A big disappointment.
This game was more involved with knowing how to tie knots (which is still a hit and miss for me) and disassemble and reassemble items which you best know what they are contained by. My knowledge of a sextant (besides being "marine" related) was nil but necessary. The walkthrough was not helpful when you really needed it. It made no logical sense to me and I wish I hadn't bothered. That being said, the graphics were great but there was but one puzzle in the entire game and it needed a walkthrough to "not" understand what they were talking about.
After discovering the other mystery trackers games with great storylines and puzzles, I decided to get them all. This seems it must have been a really old one before they figured it out. I was very disappointed in it. Every scene is a hos and I like the story and puzzles and adventure with the occasional hos.
This is my favorite mystery trackers game by far. I think it's my fourth. You have to use inventory items interactive with the hos and they are DIFFICULT to find all the items. I truly recommend the CE in order to not spend an hour on some. I managed to find 49/50 owls which is not satisfactory and am going back in to find them all before going to the bonus content. LOL. This game ROCKS.
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema!
At first the game was really jumpy but then it fixed itself. The hos were very creepy as was the story. I found it really fun and i'm not usually a big hog person. The originality of them made it so much more fun and challenging.
Find the festivalgoer abducted by the gargoyles of Notre Dame and uncover the cathedral’s dark past in this reimagining of the Victor Hugo’s classic tale.
I've only spent about four hours so far on this game 1 1/2 on the cash register puzzle alone. This game rocks. The puzzles are different than any I've seen and are VERY challenging. I like it so much, I left to tell you about it. I can't wait to see if there is a prequel or sequel to this, because it's going to be mine. Graphics are great, again, puzzles are different, which I like. No more same ol same ol here
The hos' were hard to see at times and I found that the "directions" for most puzzles were not clear and had to skip some. The quality of the sound and pictures was nice.
Not being a big fan of HOG's I really liked this one. The HOG's were SOO different than your usual. I found them more challenging than the puzzles. Very interesting monsters. Really liked this.
Only puzzles and none of the nonsense to get to them. I am going to go get the rest of them now. There were a couple that made no logical sense to me, but that's what the magic orbs are for :).
