I don't write the detailed reviews as others but this game was fantastic - the best in the series so far. The last 3 games for me were boring and took a looong time to complete. I went through this game so quickly. It had the right amount of difficult puzzles, was interactive, and those crystals - whew! hard to find but loved it! The graphics were beautiful, the storyline a nice change and plenty for you to do in each scene. Great job developers - please continue to bring the fun.
This game grabbed me right from the start! Fresh and creative hops, new interactive scenes and videos and so much more. This was a refreshing change of pace in the creativity and I can hope the developers keep it up. As always, love the graphics, music, and the color scheme. Beautiful. Looking for a new twist on the same old HO games - this is the one you should play. I played the demo and as soon as it was done purchased the CE.
The Puppet Show series has been hit and miss for me so I was very surprised by this latest installment. Love the change in colors and overall graphics. I also liked that the action/interaction started right away. There's a lot to do in each scene and the like twist on puzzles, which is always fun. I played this game straight threw b/c it was entertaining and fun.
The storyline is a good one and location (demo) and that's the only positive thing I have to say about the game. The graphics could have been cleaner and sharper, the music was dull, and the little helper was boring. The hos were ok but uninspired. Seen better. Overall, wouldn't recommend to seasoned HOS players. Didn't even finish the demo and uninstalled the game.
Danse Macabre Deadly Deception had a really good storyline, interesting and interactive HOPS that was a fun new twist but the challenge was seriously lacking. Ok game for a beginner.
Great, fun game! I was hooked from the first chapter and was sorry when I completed the game and the bonus chapter...I wanted more and more. It's been awhile since I played a game that was entertaining.
I played the demo and I plan to buy! Once again, Eipix delivers a really good game that has vivid graphics, engaging hos (very interactive) and plenty for you to do from location to the next. Audio/sound is pretty good as well. Puzzles were a bit of challenge but interesting. There are collectibles to look for throughout but they are really easy to find which was a bit of bore.
Simple storyline; not terribly original in concept.
Pros: The graphics are pretty good and the audio/sound was quite nice. The game flow was easy and pretty quick - there isn't a lot to do in each location. The hops are interactive but not challenging and the puzzles were ok.
Cons: I didn't like that once you picked up an object, the scene remained active, which was confusing b/c you don't know if there is still something for you to do in that area. Also, I don't like games that bother with a map, which is very helpful and a must, but don't bother with location names. As a result, you have to create your own to keep track of where you've been. A bit lazy on the part of the developer.
Overall, a good game for beginners new to the HO world.
Great graphics, spooky storyline, interactive & layered Hops, and fun puzzles. Lots of scenes to explore, which is always a major plus for me, so the game is not over quickly and does not drag at all! A change from the ho hum and predictable.
I only played the demo and I will certainly purchase the game. The graphics are really good with a interesting story line. The intro to the game was a nice twist as well - completely unexpected and refreshing. One of the best features are the HOS - they are more than just interactive! Not only do you have to find objects but you have to solve puzzles and create items as well that help you in the next stage of the game. Don't forget to look out for the collectibles!
