Would be a great game for starting out, pre-teens, or maybe even elderly to keep their brain moving. Visuals are great and the extra attention to details is exceptional. But it is not for the adults that needs more challenging games.
I was hopeful playing the trial but I couldn't even stay awake! The music made me feel like I was on the longest elevator ride in history. I kept nodding off. Next, the HO was just that...just hidden objects. You are given a list and you find what's on the list, that's all. The scenes reminded me of the old Highlights magazines hidden object pages. Maybe that's where the creators got the story from,...hmm? I did like the story line and thought that alone might keep me interested but it wasn't enough...sorry.
I had to stop playing the trial because it was so boring. The only stimulation I received was from my hand cramping up on the mouse trying to play this 'game'. Maybe if I was 5 I would've enjoyed it more but for an adult game it was very mundane.
This is a pretty good game for a short attention span. It would be great for older children and young teens because it makes you think fast in a short amount of time, or if you just need to fill some time without having to get too involved. The only thing is the games are the exact same on the different 'levels'. They should really change up the themes more. I only played the trial version and would like to believe the questions and answers are different as the game goes on.
I recommend this game!

So very boring. Objects to find are so teeny tiny I had to use the hint key for almost all of them. I only played the trial thankfully but deleted the game after only 40 minutes. I still cant believe I lasted that long but I did have to wait 30 seconds for the hint to charge. The story line did go by the original book by L.Frank Baum and not the movie but that wasn't enough to hold my interest.
A mysterious fortune teller has foreseen her demise at midnight this very day. Can you find the soul who seeks to kill Madame Fate? You be the detective.
Of all of the first 4 MCF games, this one is the least boring...I think it was the graphics. I am just not pleased with MCF 1-4 and regret buying the whole series! The first 4 are nothing but hidden object only, no moving around, no beinging part of the story, not even a screw to unscrew! I'll "try-it-before-I-buy-it" on ALL of a series from now on instead of trying 1 or 2 then downloading the whole series...lesson learned.
Another boring MCF game. 1-4 are the same, although MCF 3 'Ravenhearst' was the beginning storyline of quite a few but honestly, you don't need this one to play the other Ravenhearst games! I do regret buying the whole MCF series.
Another boring hidden object game with no challenge, MCF 1-4 are the same, although MCF 3 'Ravenhearst' was the beginning storyline of quite a few but honestly, you can play the others without it! I do regret buying the whole series.
If all you wanna do is find a hidden object with no challenge, then this game is for you! MCF 1-4 are the same, although MCF 3 'Ravenhearst' was the beginning storyline of quite a few but honestly, you can play the others without it! I do regret buying the whole series.
