I became discouraged early on... and even quit playing, but when I went back to it, I understand that this is the Ultimate Paint Ball Game, and just ride along with the punches... I saw a question somewhere about how to eliminate the steel balls as you get into higher levels, and if you continue to play beyond your comfort zone (people are telling me to go beyond my comfort zone in other areas of my life...), you will begin to see those steel balls disappear.... You have to keep playing... I also saw a question about how to tell what level you are on... The answer is at the end of each level it tells you which level you are on... My best advice if you're having trouble is keep trying ... Even a little at a time helps... However, now that I'm seeing things happen... it's really fun!

Very relaxing enjoyable solitaire game. Music is so relaxing, it's almost meditative, which at the end of the day is very good for me. Some challenging memory games included. I didn't read the book that goes along with it, but might next time through...

Quickly completed the Adventure level, and frankly, I'm just not going to make myself play the Challenge level because I don't do timed games. Thus, there's no more a person can do unless you want to spend forever in Relaxed mode, which wasn't very satisfying either. Don't like this game. Compared to other games, this one doesn't offer very much.
I don't recommend this game.

I, too, was sucked in by so many 5-star rave reviews! I find Puzzle Quest 2 very difficult to play, once you actually get to the match 3 part. The playing board is much smaller than Puzzle Quest: Challenge. It is even harder to tell whose turn it is. I get mixed up as to who moved what when... Spells are unclear... I'm having more fun playing Puzzle Quest: Challenge a second time, learning new and different spells, and having a good old time!
I don't recommend this game.

I truly love this game as a break from a much more challenging match 3 where I am stuck at the moment... This game offers a fairly easy Match 3 game, but what's neat about it are the bonus levels. I still play it for the challenge of the bonus levels and how come I can't remember the solve? It's fun!
I recommend this game!
