After Message in a Bottle and Emily's Christmas Carol, this game seems to have changed, and not in a good way. The characters are cartoonish and The Miracle of Life didn't have a setting for easy, medium or hard. I skipped that one. This game seems to need a bigger cursor. It kind of whites out and I can't see what it's pointing at. Also, even on easy, it's way too hard. Feels like the Dash games of old. Bring the old Emily back.
I dislike giving games 1 star and I rarely do. Until we come to DO games. They had one job. Put out a Christmas themed HOPA. They failed. This game has ok graphics. Usually I can say the graphics in DO games are great. Not this time. HO scene after HOS. I just can't. It is so hard for me to discern the art work of the HOS between what they are looking for and what is on the junk pile. I ended up playing match 3. I basically could have bought a matcch 3 game and had more fun. I cannot even tell you what the story was about because there essentially was no story. I am very very disappointed in this game, in DO games, and BFG for choosing this game to be released. Christmas games used to be magical and something to look forward to. Not this one. I don't recommend this. Glad I only played the demo.
I played the demo and enjoyed it. Bright and cheerful. I did not purchase, only because the pace gets hectic very quickly and the customers lose their patience quickly. I try to play games to relax, but this one worked me up LOL. Perhaps when it's a standard edition. Wish there was a slower pace.

A middle of the road game for Do. I was happy to see a Halloween game, thus the 3 star rating. Very illogical gameplay took away from the fun of playing. As always the graphics were great. I didn't love it, didn't hate it. It just didn't give me even a slight chill. I long for a true spooktacular game at this time of year.

I had totally forgot I bought this game. I really have love the Immortal Love series of games. This one, not so much. A lot of talking and too many matching games. The story seemed to drag on even though it was a very short game. I did like finding the 4 collectibles in almost every scene. I'm a fan of FF games, but this one was a let down. I'm giving it 3 stars only because it was finally something different. Looking forward to more FF games.
OK. I'm very late in playing this. Not that I missed anything. This, honestly, has got to be the worst game I've ever played. The storyline is absolutely ridiculous... bordering on non existent. I have no idea why I'm doing inane tasks over and over. There were glitches left and right. The misclick in HOS has got to go. It is so hard to see what they are asking you to find, as the items you are supposed to look for are drawn and not very easily seen. The mini games were OK but all repetitive from older games. I do not recommend.

The story of this game is very confusing. It's very disjointed and doesn't make sense to me. I only played the demo but that was enough. The collectibles were very difficult to find to the point that it wasn't fun. The tasks were the same old same old. There were glitches in the game that should have been fixed. I'm supposed to fan smoke, but theres no smoke to fan. I do not recommend.

I did not care for this Dark City game as much as I did for the previous ones. The story fell flat with me after New York. It seemed very repetitive and ho hum. I was very happy,, however, to see a game from this developer, instead of the usual 2 we always see. I played the game late and it's already been described in detail. I would recommend. The bonus chapter is short but cute.

I just got around to playing this game. It's certainly not up to par of Christmas games of the past. Basically doing basic HOS tasks for 3 diffferent people. And then making dads favorite sandwiches. Which means you can't open the oven without a pot holder for some reason, but you can stick your hand in the oven to take it all out. I would think making ONE Christmas game a year should mean a fantastic magical game. This misses the mark on it all. I don't recommend.
I was excited to see a new Northern Tales game out. But saddened when I played the trial. Northern Tales has always been one of my favorite Time Management games. It was like a familiar house to come home to. And that was perfectly fine. I still play the old ones. This one can't even compare to the older ones. The graphics are awful and too small. The CE is a waste of money as basically you get 5 extra levels but no locations for the hidden objects. I also didn't get any sound while I played. Sadly I won't be buying this one. Why make changes to such a great product?
