I was pleasantly surprised at this game. I only tried it because I am a huge Jane Austen fan, but I ended up liking it very much and will buy it. I loved the beautiful house to explore and the artwork. The music was lovely and relaxing without putting me to sleep. I would like to see more games based on great works of literature.
This is a great game that is unique and fun to play. The storyline is humorous and interesting. A nice change from the recent influx of fairy tale themed games. As a Mexican-American, I did NOT find the humor, characters or storyline insulting or disrespectful in any manner.
After seeing the crow being shot at with a slingshot, I lost interest in this game and would not consider buying it. There is enough violence in the world without encouraging children to become animal abusers. The creators need to be more responsible and compasssionate towards animals depicted in games. There is no reason to shoot at or abuse them in any manner.
