This is the first dedicated pc jigsaw puzzle game I've ever played. Of course I've done many as mini games and more than plenty of physical jigsaw puzzles since childhood (I actually have a jigsaw puzzle assembly table in my home). At first I wasn't sure I'd enjoy an entire game dedicated just to jigsaws but it turns out I definitely am! The picture scenes are GREAT, the little facts after the puzzles are completed are interesting and the music soundtrack is relaxing and just outstanding! I love having so many options available to choose from. I'll definitely be picking up more in this series but as for this one it's going to take me a while to work through all of these first. What a joy!

I like this game developer, Seven Sails, and enjoyed this game despite a few minor frustrations and recommendations. As you can probably tell it's a travel based HOG so if you like those you'll probably enjoy this one. Scenes are bright and cheerful - very escapist and I lost track of time while playing so it's engrossing as well. Other reviewers here mention the hangman mini-games and yes, those are lots of fun! A few things: I wish they'd included music during the HOG scenes. Maybe they were on a budget with this game production and decided to forgo including a full soundtrack, but nice music really completes the game experience and that element is noticeably absent. Also, you 'll be looking for envelopes and travel stamps in each scene - well, I couldn't find a few and there's no hint available to tell you where to look, so I did not complete "everything" in this game. Also there are morphing objects but I have trouble seeing those - my peripheral vision is not the best so your mileage may vary. I dinged them a star for all of that but I still had fun with it and recommend the game.
I really liked this game. It's very simple but engrossing - good escapist entertainment. The animal quizzes are pretty challenging and you will learn quite a few things. Some of the "new age" music is breathtakingly lovely! I'm not superstitious and don't mind finding snakes and bats. I do have one issue with AK; you are to find a camera and a paw print on each round. I simply can't find some of them. I did manage to get most. I looked everywhere. I suppose I'll go to my grave not knowing where they are! I took a star off for this. I like completing games to 100% and I'm not able to do that with this game. Still a recommended buy for fans of this genre.
Time to relax and find some semi-hidden objects! Fun!

Fun, different and creatively executed HO game - utilizes quaint 1950's design elements and funky background music - quite unlike the Point 8/Tiny Lion games I've been binging on this summer - this game is not overly challenging - but sometimes you just want to relax and play something that's easy to dive into with scenes you can clear quickly - well, if that sounds appealing then this is your game. I'm a big fan of cheerful travel themed games so it is perfect for me - lots of mini games, some being better than others - I really enjoyed memory, solitaire and tile swap - ran into problems with the later jigsaws (how do you turn the pieces?) and did not care for "block-slide" - but hey, you can skip 'em which is nice!
I've played others in this series; they're all pretty similar. Compared to a lot of HOG's this game is particularly well produced and with so many colorful scenes (which require five run thru's to master, I think-) it's a good value. Many of the objects are VERY well hidden and I had to rely on the dreaded "hint" button more than a few times. The mini games are entertaining, too - I particularly like memory and spot the difference but they're all pretty good. I hope Point 8 continues with this series - and I'll continue to buy them.
I have always steered away from Domini games as their story driven HOPA's are extremely tedious and overly complicated to me - I prefer a bright and cheerful straightforward HOG where i can jump straight into finding stuff without needing to rely on a walkthrough to avoid getting stuck, or be forced to, for example "find the key to the gate" and do other time consuming "busywork" tasks while enduring constant error messages like "that didn't work" and "let's try something else." So when this game was described as more of a traditional HOG rather than a HOPA I was interested. So far I've cleared 58 scenes and I have no idea how close I am to finishing, but I'm having a pretty good time with it. The scenery and artwork is beautiful. There IS a story you advance through and some "object assembly" of course so the messages "that wasn't my best idea" are still there, but it's somewhat less frustrating than the standard fare put out by this publisher. Who knows, maybe I'll attempt another Domini HOPA again after this one now that I'm learning the ropes. Recommended game (so far) especially for players like me who enjoy HOGs without overly complex storylines.
This is a very basic hidden object game. There's no storyline (which is plus for me, since I dislike plot driven games). The scenes are bright and cheerful, objects aren't necessarily hidden that well - you have to run through each scene about 8 times to master it - between each HO scene they throw in a repetitive mini game - these can be skipped, and I really can't imagine many players actually complete the word searches and mah jong minis.... It's a LONG game - not sure I'll complete it - it's a time killer but that's about the best I can say for it.
There are several installments in this series and all of them are relaxing and charming HOGs. The gameplay is extremely simple and fast and the scenes are bright, clear and cheerful. It would appeal to children but I like it, too. I'm not too wild about most of the mini games but you can skip those after a 30 second wait.
There aren't many new HOGs in recent years like this one that do not include a storyline - I don't want to follow a complex plot and use a strategy guide/walkthrough). Developers take note: there IS a demand for cheerful, "old fashioned" hidden object games! More games like this, please!
An enjoyable (although short) straightforward HOG - I love games like this, with bright and cheerful scenes, a light plot, no complex "walkthrough" necessary - it's a challenge to find games that fit this description and this one is nearly 10 years old at the time of this review. Recommended.

This is a pretty run of the mill, "travel around the world" themed "hidden object game" where so many of the objects are not really hidden but are in plain sight. Looking for the hot air balloon, Saturn or satellite? They're right there in the sky, not even slightly obscured or hidden. This game may be fun for kindergartners but not for me. I did appreciate the very clear pictures and the little factoids about the random world cities at the beginning of each scene, but that's just not enough to save this one for me.
