I like the Dana Knightstone games and this one was no exception. I played it on casual and enjoyed the pace. As usual the scenery and everything were good. I would have liked a Hint because I spent more time than I would like trying to locate some HOs but that was no big deal. Recommend this game highly!

The Stroke of Midnight
A romance author has stumbled upon a Victorian-era love triangle, and must reunite the long lost lovers in the afterlife!
This was a nice detective adventure. I had to use a walkthrough a lot though. There should have been a map, which would have made it a lot easier and more enjoyable. I had a lot of difficulty trying to remember how to get to each place. I don't like a Hint that just says "nothing to do here, look elsewhere". I'd rather the Hint gave directions. I did like that I could skip the mini-games as some of them I didn't want to play. In spite of all the difficulties, it was a fun game.
This game was wonderful!!!! It had so many different things to do--not the same old mini-games. I loved 'writing' the stories; that was fun. This game was challenging, made me think, yet I was able to navigate through it without getting stuck and without any kind of technical issues or other problems. I just thoroughly enjoyed this game. Not a moment was boring. I highly recommend this game.
This game was okay but I'm glad I had a bonus coupon and did not buy it. I was glad that I could quickly read the dialogue and move on because the voices became irritating to me. I played this in the casual mode. I found that the hint charged pretty slowly. There were a good many impossible to find HOs and one thing that irritated me was if I clicked too much, the screen got those dark streaks in it. I hate those. I don't like maze puzzles and this game had several of those which I skipped. It was pretty enjoyable though.
To save your father from a hideous monster, you've decided to sacrifice your own freedom. Now you must journey through a strange and magical land before time runs out!
I simply loved this game. The nightingale singing so beautifully and the beautiful scenery were just perfect. Interacting with all the different critters was fun, too. I love this type game. It was challenging enough to make me think and it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend.
I made it through this game but I really don't know why I punished myself like that. It was so difficult to figure out what to do, where to go, etc. I had to consult a walkthrough every few minutes and then sometimes I wouldn't understand what to do. I suppose I liked it enough to finish it, but I feel like I've been run over by a big truck. I would not recommend buying this game. This was a free bonus game for me; I'm glad I didn't buy it. Poorly planned game!
The story was a little silly but not too bad. Barry, the bear, was cute. The voices were okay, not too irritating. It was another game rescuing a family member, which is nothing new. I enjoyed everything except the puzzles; they were not my type, so I skipped most of them. The map was excellent in that I just click where I want to go and go there instantly. Wish all the game maps were like that. I recommend for a relaxing, not too difficult, not too easy, game.
Even after the bad reviews, I decided to get this game. I'm glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed it. The voices were clear and good. The scenery was great and the HOs were good. I enjoyed finding the parts of hidden objects, too, although some of them were a little difficult to find. The story was okay, and I just thought it was a good little game for the weekend. Recommend!
This was an entertaining game. The dialogue and the written facts were interesting. However, for a CE I thought it was too short. There were a lot of puzzles, most of which I didn't like, so I skipped them. Looking for clovers became quite annoying and didn't seem to amount to anything in the end.
