I like this version so much more than the first Royal Envoy which I really didn't enjoy. There are a lot of levels, the scenery is gorgeous with birds and flowers in abundance and there are a number of little quirky touches I like, such as the pirates and gluttons. I've really enjoyed playing this game.
If I had to make any changes, I would love a casual/untimed play level so that I could just build myself a little village in the gorgeous surroundings and just sit and watch it grow. Also, I felt a bit cheated that, having slogged to do all the levels again to get the gold stars, the game just ended without anything special happening - so there was no sense of 'arrival'. Once you learn how to do the levels, it's not at all difficult to do them in the fastest time, so I'd like to see something a bit more challenging IF the individual player wanted it.
But otherwise, a great game that I would definitely recommend.

I loved this game - once I had finished it for the first time and had figured out what to do! I don't very often play time management games, but I've enjoyed the Farm Frenzy games so I thought I'd give this a go. I found it quite difficult to navigate the different screens, and to begin with I wasn't always sure how to achieve what was required, as there isn't much in the way of help if you're stumped. But, as I say, by the time I'd actually finished the first run through the game, I'd got it all figured out. I particularly loved all the characters, and I enjoyed the scenery at the top of the page, where there are trees and you can see the birds, and the vultures that swoop down.

I didn't get past the first minute of the game for two reasons - 1. the dialogue is terrible, and doesn't make sense, obviously not written by someone with a good command of English. and 2. Although I selected widescreen, I still couldn't get the scene to fit on my screen, and it's no fun if half of what you're looking for is off the screen!
