In this latest edition of Shadow Wolf Mysteries you are called in for help in a village protected by a family with a curse. The curse sounds bad but it helps them protect the villagers from scary creatures that are about to devour them. Things are really complicated this time. The father of the family is missing by the time of your arival, the son that is to get to the age when he can take over the curse is fighting the creatures off by himself. To get things worse the doctors working for his father have dicovered a cure for the curse making the choice for the son even harder. The game seems to have more puzzles than hidden object scenes. They come in different shapes and forms and of different difficulty level. The same can be said about the hidden object scenes - you have sillhouettes, list, and put to it's place kind of searches. I really enjoyed this installment and I have played all of them. This one really deserves Editor's Choice. I hope the series continues. Anyone and everyone should enjoy this fantastic adventure.
If you decide to go with the CE there are achievemnts and collectibles (these are tied to all kinds of mysterious creatures from over the world). You have a tattoo that helps you deal with the carcasses of the warewolves. You can use a map and a strategy guide as you play. The bonus game is a great conclusion to the main story.
I recommend this game!

A powerful explosion thundered in one of tunnels during the laying of a new continental railway line. The only victim of this tragedy is the chief engineer Jonathan Finch, whose body cannot be found. Jonathan’s previous report testified to the increased seismic activity, but a few weeks ago his conclusion had the absolute opposite meaning. The railway company is forced to stop construction and launch an investigation. The head of the company sends a film recording the tragic incident to one of his friends, the retired military officer Richard Stone. One of the disturbing shots of the film rivets Richard's attention, a stone monument, the origin of which becomes a riddle for (you) the hero. Having settled down in the train carriage, Richard doesn't begin to suspect that the railway would lead him to an ancient civilization, in which he will occupy the place of honor, as the defender who stopped the greed and betrayal. This SE adventure does NOT include hidden object scenes. Dialogue is given but no voice overs. The music is a bit repetitive and you might want to skip the slow paced dialogue if you wish. The map is very helpful in leading you what to do next, but be mindful of every move or you may have to begin the game all over again. I loved the game and recommend it to anyone and everyone. It deserves more than a 3 star rating...

This was an insta-buy for me. Your objective is to defeat sorcerer Isa and the evil force standing behind him in Spirits of Mystery 5: Chains of Promise Collector's Edition. Isa decided to take power over the kingdom of the Black Unicorn by marrying its princess Adele and killing her father afterwards. Firstly he put a curse on her and when her father asks someone for help the curse is removed in exchange of a promise to arrange their marriage. And now, when the marriage is tomorrow, he’s preparing something devious to kill the king right after it! Adele is your BEST FRIEND so you have no choice but to face Isa and his dark master! This installment is an awesome adventure. I thought the graphics, puzzles, hos, and voice overs were spot on! Incredible game play for anyone and everyone! I loved it!

Time to restore peace and order in the Minah kingdom in Forgotten Kingdoms 2: The Ruby Ring ! When your hero Prince Tristan was just a baby, palace coup caused by the dark forces forced him to run away from the castle. During the coup both of his parents were killed. He was saved by his dear nanny who loved the young Prince so much that she risked her own life to save him from the shadowy figures which took away royal guards and the King himself, despite his magical powers. Nanny even had taken King’s ruby ring, which should belong to the current ruler of the Minah castle. And when Prince Tristan reaches age 18, she gives the ring to him…help Tristan to use the magical ring to restore his rights and become a king in this current installment. The story line in this edition isn't relative to the first game. I really enjoy this series, it requires brain power and should appeal to intermediate/advanced players. Beautiful graphics and voices. HO's that require inventory items to complete and challenging puzzles. I chose the CE over the SE.
The Collectors Edition has Wallpapers, Music, Hidden Object games, an Art Gallery, Puzzles, Achievements, Hidden Crowns, a Bonus Chapter and of course a built in Strategy Guide which I highly recommend with this game, enjoy!

This genre has evolved insanely in the past few years and hopefully they will be able to keep on delivering innovative concepts and amazing titles and Subliminal Realms is at the top of my list. It's mesmerizing and captivating both in story and execution. I loved the progress and advances – and you'll get the most out of everything in this point-and-click ground breaker. A brilliant, must have hidden object adventure game! The story itself is haunting and beautiful at the same time: the game tells the story of Albert, a successful painter who starts having nightmares about a strange female monster he decides to name Solitude. One day, the nightmares come to life when Solitude manages to exit the dreams world and kidnaps Albert’s family, taking them inside a painting. So you have to go deep into the paintings – armed with nothing but your wits and a paintbrush – and save your family before it’s too late. A really good story that makes me remember the great Robin Williams movie What Dreams May Come.
But it’s not just the story that makes Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece a must play game! The graphics and all visuals you’ll encounter are absolutely breathtaking and, simply put, wonderful. Bright colors and amazing art – that’s what you’re going to get during your LONG adventure, in a world that’s both mad and beautiful, both creepy and heartwarming at the same time. And you can rarely say something similar about the graphics in today’s games. The gameplay is delightfully pleasant as well and you will also get a pretty lengthy game compared to what you’re used with in the hidden object world. The hidden object scenes themselves are really unique and different from other games, they force you to keep an open mind and open your eyes to find the objects – a real challenge sometimes, without it being frustrating or draining to your eyes. It’s not just the HoS that come like a fresh breath of air in The Masterpiece, but the minigames too, which are original and creative, smart and fun to play, offering just as much of a challenge as it is needed for you to spend a while on them, but without them being horribly difficult. I chose the Collector’s Edition over the Standard Edition because it comes with a Strategy Guide, the option to replay mini-games, achievements and paintings to unlock and paint as well as a secret game… so there’s quite a lot on offer from this already charming game. I look forward to more psychological thrillers from this developer. Thank you Bigfish!
I recommend this game!

In this edition you face the ultimate threat for mankind, coming from the polar ice in Mystery Trackers: Winterpoint Tragedy Collector's Edition! When connection with the arctic research lab called Winterpoint Station, where researches of utter importance were provided, was broken, Mystery Trackers send an agent. Strangely it wasn’t you – it was your colleague Agent Shade. And shortly after she arrived you received a distress call from her, where shadowy figures were taking her away! Now you and Elf are going to land onto snow that wasn’t melted for thousands of years to face ancient creatures, vile and intelligent. They are Cold Stalkers (some kind of Alien race) and you must save the world from DEEP FREEZE. Assist Agent Shade and Professor Loyd in this fast paced, action packed adventure full of twists and subplot. I love this series and have played them all. The graphics could have been executed better, but the storyline is captivating and the Bonus Chapter is a nice conclusion to the entire game. It doesn't matter if you haven't played the other games in this series. This is a great one to start with leading the casual gamer into the world of Mystery Tracker. Good Luck and Enjoy!!!

This is the third game in the Whispered Secrets series, Golden Silence and a game I have to talk about! The previous two have been of really high quality and you should not be surprised to hear that this one follows the same route. Even though story-wise, it doesn’t bring tons of originality to the table, I know that most hidden object adventures follow the same patterns and this particular one manages to do it best in the trilogy. When Bill Turner’s wife hires you to find her missing husband in a mysterious mining town, it’s pretty obvious that you have some real digging to do! It’s not clear what happened to the man, but it’s pretty obvious that the mayor and townspeople are clearly trying to hide something – and they ever send somebody on your trail. It’s a difficult situation, but I’m sure you’re not a person who’s afraid of a little challenge. Plus, you certainly have some mystery solving skills already, and this story needs a happy ending – one that you can bring! Even though the story itself has been said in the past, in a a way or another, Whispered Secrets: Golden Silence manages to come with a nice approach and the adventure itself is really enjoyable. You can make it as difficult as you want it to bee, with three different difficulty modes (and a custom mode, if that’s not enough for you) and, no matter what you choose, you will surely have a ton of fun doing it. I enjoy custom mode. The hidden object scenes are beautiful and varied (but in case you’re, for some reason, not a fan, you can play Match-3 games instead) with most of them being interactive list finds. The puzzles and mini-games are aplenty and challenging enough to increase the play time a little bit and offer much needed variety: from dexterity to moving/sliding puzzle variation and even some logic puzzles, it's got a bit of everything and the developers prove that they did their best to keep us as entertained as possible. The graphics are absolutely beautiful: a mixture between realistic and cartoonish, they are colorful and bright, with the mining theme being exploited to the maximum and turned into real eye candy. Surprisingly, even the soundtrack and all the voice acting are really good, which is something you don’t normally get from hidden object games. This is another proof, in my opinion, that the people behind Whispered Secrets did their best to offer us some real quality. Even though not insanely original or revolutionary, this title manages to do everything just right and it’s all in the small touches: from the beautiful artwork to gameplay elements and concepts (like the helper, for example, which doesn’t bother you at all and, well, really helps!), it's all here in the game. The Collector’s Edition also comes with more gameplay time in terms of new adventures, as well as achievements, wallpapers, team photos and collectibles. All these make it a great deal for your money, so you should really not ignore the CE if you have the money for the upgrade. I enjoyed the bonus chapter, but it isn't relative to the main story. This edition is my favorite and fans of the series will get to love as soon as they start playing!

As the storm rages on through the gloomy night, a wayward traveler gets lost in the forest wilderness of the American northeast and stumbles upon a seemingly deserted town of Oakville.A home of the three industrious American families, the small area appears to be the momentary safe haven for the reasons which could hardly be described as natural – the rampant storm is the weakest within the town limits.Tucked away in the small valley and concealed from sight behind the faint mists of the placid mountain lake, the panorama of the prosperous community serves as a façade for a terrifying secret that involves all the residents but can be traced back to one mysterious figure – Mr. Nightingale. The shadows are closing in. Solve the secret and leave the town before the time runs out and shed light on the sinister origins of Mr. Nightingale, the eponymous dread of Oakville!!! This series continues with the 4th installment in the franchise and I loved it...

This is a "period" game, set in pre WWII Japan. The music is Japanese, nice and tranquil to listen to. The artwork is beautiful, with different types including some Japanese watercolor cutscenes. The mechanics of the game take a while to get used to and the map helps. There's not a lot of running back and forth in this game, and not a lot of locations. The HOs were pretty hard. There's several types of them, the standard list with some interaction; silhouettes which were quite hard as the items are Japanese themed and the silhouette might be of a little piece of artwork on a teapot, very hard to spot. There was also one where you replace objects. You could set the hint to refill fairly fast, I did and I used it a lot, lol. I figured out right away I wasn't going to get the achievement for no hints! The puzzles were mostly pretty easy with a few harder ones thrown in. The storyline was sad but good, a teenage girl was sent to go work in a factory but takes off for the big city in search of her geisha birthmother instead. The biggest obstacle you face is your father, but you persist until the conclusion of the adventure. Long playing adventure good for use with game credit...

Driving to the Peaceful Hill Motel is less than peaceful to say the least. It’s pretty scare to awaken in the room you never seen before, filled with deadly puzzles you need to solve to find a way out, and in Maze: Subject 360 Collector's Edition Horror Game it’s only the beginning of your dreadful trials! A child’s voice will tell you what to do, what scary experience you are going to get next and soon you will start to despise her. She’s calling you Subject 360 and always laughing when you’re trying to find out, what happened with previous subjects. And you will understand, why she’s laughing, when you will get to the cemetery filled with thumbs of previous subjects. Dare to embark on this psychological thriller to avoid a grave with your name on it in this MATURE Adventure Hidden Object Puzzle! This is destined to be a cult classic in the Big fish catalog. The quest is LONG and disturbing just the way I like this kind of adventure. Not for the faint of heart, and I hope that reviewer's will be respectful and not disclose any spoilers! This protagonist mystery is unlike any other game in this specific genre I have ever played. As a reviewer, I recommend players also check out these similar titles in the search field...
