Loved everything about this game, better than the 1st in the series

I don't write alot of review's, other people go into so much detail. I have to with this game, everything was great with this one. The graphic's were beautiful, bright, crisp and clear. The VO'S were lip synched nicely, voices went with the character's well. Music was spot on, taking you with the scene and what was happening. The HOS'S were varied, but you did play some scence's twice. The puzzle's were great, lots of variety, ranging from pretty simple to much more complicated, I was able to do 95% of them, which is high for me. The extra's, include a really different type of match 3 game, to access you must find all the chess piece's, they were pretty cleverly hidden. You also get a card game when you find all the tarot card's, and then finding all the puzzle piece's get's you 8 jigsaw's.
Some might find this game to easy, but for a nice relaxing and visually gorgeous game, I highly recondmend this game.

I don't know how, I haven't played any of the "Myths of the world" games before. I so was engrossed, playing this game I played for 3hrs, without realizing it.
Eipix nailed everything, about this game.The lead in was done so well. Panoramic view, narrowing to a path thru the forest. The music, was perfect a haunting irish ballard.Then you see flickering light, as you go even further in the forest, you see the fairy looking up, a cage coming down to trap her.
Some how she escapes, and makes it to your grandfathers, shop. She need's his help to save, both world's. Grandfather has passed, so you have to figure out how to use your family's power's, to close the portal between them.
The graphic's were also, top notch rich full scene's of color and layer's, just beautiful.
Music was spot on, matching scene's and what was happening, spooky, climatic, even playful in a few of the later scene's.
Map was jumpable, which I look for, you can skip puzzle's after a short time +, and the hint button was realy good, VO's were better than most.
You have a magic monocle, which glow's when there is something with magic, going on, help's to dechyer, rune's etc.
Then there is your lie detector, you use it to get info, it's a fun, clever little game.
There are so many puzzle's and many mimi-game's, I couldn't tell you about them all. HO's mostly fragmented, you have to find many little object's to get your prize. There is also one, you are shown several object's, you have to figure out what the all have in common. The flip picture's,where you have to move piece's, to form a picture, were fun, you had to have a square shape one, then second, would be in a triangle shape, etc. Perhap's my favorite was this one, you have a candle, and as it shine's against the tent's side, you have to guess what animal's there making, dog, rabbit, etc.
This is one of the best game's I'ved played. Will look for other EIPIX game's for sure.
The extra's were FANTASTIC.
Several mini games, including a nice bubble shooter, collectible fairy shoe's. Find object's in the sky, kind of like a dot to dot. Just fun I hope you enjoy as much as I did

It starts out simple enough, death comes to you, and tells you, the balance between life and death, is being put in danger. It seems 3 people have cheated, and you're the only 1 who can restore the balance. You must travel to 3 cities London, Paris and Prague, to find edivence of their guilt, so they, can be dealt with and the balance will be restored. Death gives you a amulent that allows you to talk to spirts.
The grapic's are very sharp and engaging, even the HOS are clear and colorful, and the objects are not so small, you need a magnifing glass to find them.
The map is truly interactive, it allows you to teleport between locations, which is good, because there is a bit of back and forth. You start at your home, where you are set up to make keys, dechiper all kinds of texts, and brew potions as needed. The music is very good, it sets the scene, its scary, suspenceful etc. The HOS are very good also, you have some straight find the list, find the silloutte, and my favorite find 1 object to use to find 2nd object etc. You also have the option to play a game instead. The mini games ranged from fairly easy to much harder. But I was able to do most of them without having to use the skip button, this is a BIG plus for me.
I played the free 1 hour trial, and then purchased, it right away, I didn't want to stop playing. I am not sure of the exact time to finish, but it seemed fairly long for a SE version. So enjoy.
I recommend this game!

Intro was standard, receive letter, inheirt old manor, come alone, take friends with you instead, they're trapped, must free everyone and right ancient curse. You're transported to ancient African village, where you talk to a wizard, who tells you what you have to do to lift curse and save your family and friends.
The map was not inter-active, so a lot of going back and forth from the same scenes over and over. I find music to be a important part of a good HO, it helps set a mood, is it building up to a climax, is it scary, does it take you to a differant time and place, not much here. The few HOS I did were very grainy, not sharp and clear. Some objects just blended into the whole scene, I had to use hints, which I don't very often. The mini games, were varied, but seemed kind of clunky. The object of games were not clear right off.
Over all this game just did't grab me. Each problem aspect, was't enough to keep me from finishing the game, but taken altogether, it just won't be a purchase for me
