I have been a lover of the Puppet Show since the series was introduced. I have from time to time less excited of a game or two. This game kept me excited.
The puppets are clever and the games storyline rose to clever.
Good work! Don't abandon the series.
BTW I miss the helper buddy Elf pass the word on for me please -- bring an Elf offspring back to Mystery Trackers. I do like the new Detectives United though.
Not sure why I hadn't played both of the Fatal Evidence, Missing and Cursed Island, games so it has been a treat to play both.
The story of each were excellent. I have grown tired of what I call weird games with mythical creatures. The story of each a who done it adventure. Add Ms Holmes:The Five Orange Pips to the selection of games and kick back.
The story was interesting but must admit that the game was to challenging for this old as dirt woman. Oh I managed the seek and finds however some of the puzzles not doable by this old as dirt woman who has a neurological disorder. I knew what needed to be performed so rather than being irritated I used skip.
I have had major issues trying to like the last two releases. I have tried. The game dishes up a story that I can't wrap my head around just to weird for my sensibilities.
I admire the graphics and effort the creative team have produced.
Surely there is a story to be had that does not follow the path of the last two releases.
I am a fan of the Dark City series. The first 3 were more challenging and the game play lasted longer. This game was fun but it seemed some corners cut. I saw scenes of sorts that was in prior Dark City -- streets/alleys.
I personally do not expect the team of developers/creators to produce consistently A+ games in a serious. Next one though produce a blockbuster.
