The game could be perfect, excellent, top-notch but for this hint that was so unpleasant. “I can use something here” was like a spell to drive me crazy.
In all other respects it is very good.
I recommend this game!

A very different interpretation in this game genre. Although I am not familiar with this dev I welcome the attempt to give us a new kind of story and not just fairy tale, or detective, or some dark and spooky stuff.
Finally, I have found the game that was not only beautifully presented but also challenging enough not to lose my interest right from the beginning.
The only thing that I did not like was the huge size of the game – I had to wait quite a long to start playing and there’s nothing more awful for me than to wait.
I recommend this game!

Adventure that will blow up the limits of your imagination – this is my impression of Frozen Beauty. A different and smart interpretation of a famous fairy tale totally coincided with my wishes. The game aesthetics was also a delight to my eyes with the gorgeous graphics and very attractive squirrel.
But what won me over eventually was the game structure (HOS, puzzles, collectibles, achievements), navigation and game flow in general. It was just like in a good movie when you become the part of the story.
Frozen Beauty CE is really unique and majestic. You are still reading my review…come on, hurry up to play.
I recommend this game!

My review will be short this time: the devs gave us one more good reason to spend our cents. And this is the marvelous part of Cinderella.
I enjoyed the fact they preserved the collectibles in SE (morphing objects). And I always appreciate FROGs.

This CE is worth every cent I spent. Luckily I found the game that is excellent in every aspect.
First of all, I fell in love with the story line. I was so much tired with all the illogical games that I have seen recently. Here there’s a wonderful mix of adventure, challenge and mystery. I didn’t find the snakes that much scary – they are much more frightening in reality.
I loved everything: astounding graphics, marvelous music, varied puzzles, silhouettes.
Besides House of 1000 Doors is one of those series which will definitely appeal to a wider audience, not just to teens or their grannies.
I recommend this game!

SHIVER – play the awesome game, feel it in your fingers.
I am an admirer of werewolf dark spooky games, so there was no way for me but to at least try.

From my experience, the gameplay was perfect and logic, with lots of attractive puzzles and mind-boggling HOS. Dark and gloomy atmosphere was supported by the astounding graphics and intriguing story line which you want to follow to the end.
I would like to see map, collectibles and achievements, but even without them I had tons of fun.

On and off I do enjoy playing these old-style dinosaurs. Several modern games are too much sophisticated and show-off in my opinion.
I guess the reason the game receives so many bad comments is that fishies do not have enough patience. Given a few minutes of it, I hope, they will also find it rather playable. Quite solid storyline to keep your interest and excitement: you are solving the mystery of the haunted mansion.
Some people missed voice overs, but it is for the best, I believe since they could spoil the whole impression of exactly this game. While I agree that the graphics was old school, there was something charming about it, something that complemented the atmosphere of the game.
However there was one thing the devs should have taken care of – proper translation and spelling. This is no way excusable.
I recommend this game!

All the many bad reviews on this game nearly put me off but for such a good bargain I couldn’t resist the temptation.
The storyline, I guess, is the strongest reason to play the game: this is a really compelling and engrossing experience. Even despite the fact that it was reminiscent of Agatha Christie’s “10 little indians”. Finding the mysterious treasure made me spend around five hours playing on casual mode. However I am not sure the game will appeal to core players.
Plenty and plenty of HOS – just the right amount for a HOG lover like me. Puzzles can be skipped and that will add to your timer (no-no, the game is not timed – it just shows your playtime, that’s all). I must admit there was nothing out of the ordinary in the puzzles – I imagine the puzzle-crazy guys won’t be tempted with this.
My special mention goes to the sound effects: VOs were quite of the standard and not overdone or overacted. The music supported the creepy atmosphere.
I was fortunate not to come across the glitches of the game, but if I were a developer, I would give more attention to the graphics which was rather mediocre. It could be appropriate if I played the games some years ago, but now it seems dull and dated. Add to this dark and blurry cut scenes – and the fun is spoilt.
Anyway there dozens of the games hundreds of times worse than this and if you are looking for something to fill your lonely evening – give a try to the Gnomes.
I recommend this game!

I cannot understand this general admiration regarding Family Tales. I moved no further than 30 minutes and said enough.
While the story was tolerable, although rather trivial, my major peeve is the absence of good music. I love when all the elements of the game are well tuned in a single composition. But the repetitive sounds spoilt this one. Furthermore no voice overs – a great disappointment these days.
What irritated me most is this darkness all around the game. My eyesight is far from perfect and I had some difficulties with the visibility of the objects.
The only thing I will praise this game is its quickness.
