Modern story line with a fantasy twist and a customizable avatar. The collectables were reasonably easy to find and offered a fun mini game. This game wasn't super hard though there were some frustrating puzzles. Beautiful game with a good bonus chapter.
Cruel beings have devastated a floating island leaving its peaceful populace helpless in the face of war. Conquer the evil scourge and repair the land!
I could play this game forever. It really sets the bar. Lot's of variety and easily customizable difficulty at each level. So much too do. This is definitely a strategy game with a little match-3 thrown in. No clock to beat per se but you definitely feel the pressure. I can't say how much I love it enough. Friendly dragons, mean ants no demons...Good clean fun with goals you can accomplish if you use your noggin.
Aside from a few pieces of missing music in the opening this game is surprisingly top notch. I was worried but the characters had a lot of depth, while being cute and funny. Even the gruesome things had humor and the ghouls could be described as nothing but "hot". I'm still waiting for the first ghoul to come back and am buying this game because I can't wait to see him again. I love muscles. Forget the "save my daughter" storyline, I want to jump in the wall with ghoul #1.
This game is one of the best SEs I've played. It is way better that most of the CEs being released lately. Beautiful clear graphics, interesting characters/storyline, collectables and a bonus chapter. And the character's lips move which is one of my pet peeves for a CE though I will let a SE slide on it. I can't believe this isn't a CE. Definite buy for me.
I just finished the demo and immediately bought this game. I can't wait to continue. This is a must buy for those who love to play detective. The storyline is gripping and top notch.
This game would be good for beginners and cat lovers who don't mind a simple game. First strike was the whining cats in the first scene. Very annoying. The second strike was when I am commanded to chase said cats and a few leopards into a forest during a blizzard by some random guy. Why did I leave my door open? Third strike was when I realize I am wearing a beautiful FUR trimmed coat while performing a myriad of tasks with NO GLOVES during a blizzard. I'm not buying this game but it isn't awful. A little silly for me. I finished the demo in 31 minutes with no hints/skips so I maybe it gets better.
I recommend this game!

I hardly ever review games I don't purchase and play for a few hours but I have to say this game has one of the best soundtracks ever. That is the ONLY good thing about it. The opening was incredible. It kept me playing for about 15 minutes. My biggest issue, aside from there being no storyline, is that I couldn't see a thing. I hit a morphing object that looked like a pitch black corner. The hidden object scene was so far away. I have never seen one with objects at such a distance and I have a huge monitor. The text was also blurry. The soundtrack was really getting it though.
This game was gorgeous. The storyline was engaging and I had a clear sense of what tasks needed to be done. There also weren't a ton of hidden objects scenes and the few they had were well done. The map was also very good. I can't think of anything bad to say. Just superb and really long too. I definitely got my money's worth.
I expected so much more because I loved the last Nevertales but this was awful. I was really not feeling the demonic/witchcraft element. The storyline is very dark and just plain disturbing. This game was creepy and not in an entertaining way. I cut it off after ten minutes.
It's got all the bells and whistles but the storyline kill its.
I was genuinely sad when I finished this game. Where is Kingdom Tales 2?!! I loved the friendly monsters and dragons rather than demons I have to fight and click a million times in other games like this (Hidden World comes to mind). I also loved that the scenery was bright and sunny throughout. No gloomy darkness, no ice ages, just bright sparkly fun. Winning each level was pretty easy once you get the "strategy" behind the game. Loved it.
