I was thrilled when I saw the third Trito being offered and immediately bought it!
I haven't written a review for a game in a long time, but I thought it was necessary to defend this game from the other reviews! Yes, I respect the different opinions of my fellow players/gamers, however, I wanted to be fair to the developers and let potential players know that it is definitely worth trying. As with most match 3 games, you have to play more than a few levels to get a true feel of the game.
I happen to like limited move M3s, because I love a good challenge....without a time limit! AND, I absolutely LOVE the various bonuses created by match 4 and above. The developers were very creative with the bonus characters, and they make me smile with their antics and sound effects!
One thing I want to clear up is that this game does NOT play itself! (Sorry Penmom - I still love you and your reviews!) Yes, you can create lots of bonuses, but even that takes strategy on most of the boards. I believe another reviewer said that moves are random and no strategy is required, but I totally disagree. There are many levels that if you don't develop a strategy -- you will have to replay several times, or use some of your purchased bonuses to be able to win the level!
You do not have to pay to get extra moves (if you don't want to) -- you can replay the board for free, which I recommend, so that you can understand the STRATEGY of how to beat that board.
You will find that you have to figure out a lot of things on your own, in that everything is not explained to you. But to me, that is part of the challenge I like, and makes it worth playing.
As I said in the title of this review - give this game a chance! Keep an open mind, and play smart!
Of course, if you don't like limited moves, this may not be the game for you. In my opinion, the number of moves given in each level is fair, once you understand how that particular board is intended to be played. You still may need to buy some bonuses to win, and you may get an unlucky arrangement of tiles, but you can restart that board at anytime.
I look forward to a fourth installment! Please!
I recommend this game!

i would love to meet the extremely clever person/s who developed this game, because I would like to THANK them for bringing me so much pleasure playing this game!
As other reviewers have said, C&F 2 is FUN and challenging, but without being frustrating. Even on some of the more difficult levels, where you have a certain amount of moves to obtain gold, I will stare at the screen for awhile, not sure of where I can move, but with a smile on my face knowing it will come to me, and I feel a real sense of accomplishment when it does!
The sound effects and music are just perfect for this game, and that also puts a smile on my face. LOVE IT!
It was released on BFG for two days before I noticed it, but when I did, I dropped everything I was doing and made time to play this wonderful and uplifting game!
I recommend this game!

I ignored the bad reviews and gave it a chance, and I ended up buying this game with my free coupon. Since I know that match 3 games start out easy and build to more complex levels, I was patient and took my time reading the instructions after each level (which by the way, were very clear).
I don't like timed games (or not having the option) and the main part of this game is NOT timed, but you are limited to a certain amount of moves to win the level. This was appropriate for this game and I enjoyed the challenge. However, every sixth level (which is the "planting the garden" level), you are on a VERY short timer to complete that task. This part I was able to complete early on, but so far, I have skipped these levels (which is a plus!). After I "master" the main levels, I will go back and figure out how you can fit everything in such a short amount of time! This is the only reason I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 (at this time).
Yes, I get irritated at "jiggly hints", but in this game, you have time to decide what the next move should be, and those hints are there only to let you know what is available, not what move you should make.
I was going to spend maybe a couple of hours playing this game, and then get on to other chores for the day.... but.... I got hooked on this game and ended up playing much longer than intended. I was looking for something different and fun, and this game fit the bill. I'm on level 66 at this point, and maybe I'll stop for the day.
In conclusion, I'm not saying this is one of the best games I've ever played, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and I felt that some of the reviews may throw off some gamers from at least trying it and giving it a fair chance.
I recommend this game!
