Fine cute game for young children. A hidden gun may bother some parents, but I don't have a problem with it.This is for 4 and 5 year old kids, I think older, more sophisticated kids would find it too simplistic. Not much of a story line or anything to spark imagination.
I recommend this game!

The graphics and sound quality are good, but everything else is just OK.The story does nothing for me you just chase the monster around-Ho Hum There is a great deal of finding this object in this scene to finish that object in that scene, without the story or anything being advanced. Lots of busy work without much logic. I am very glad I did not buy the extended edition.
I don't recommend this game.

This game has started out really well, after a week of retro games this is heaven.Good, clear, and imaginative graphics. Moody music and sounds.Very good HO scenes, not very hard but with fun little extras--find the glass, put it on the stool, find the spigot, turn it on, etc.I also loved the kitty under the stars and snail and bird in another scene, these were great little touches, the kind of thing that shows extra care and thought about a game.I have only played about 30 minutes, but I am hooked. Do not know much about the story, a kidnapping, but interesting so far.Game seems to follow logically, not jumping all over the place and easy to find what you need.I can't wait to resume playing.

I may not have given this game enough time but it was giving me a headache. It seemed to promise good things but went down hill quickly. Fuzzy, uninteresting graphics. A overly bouncy tune that was annoying . Very unimaginative and confusing HO scenes. In one HO scene they asked for a drill but you had to click on the drill bit not the drill,in another they asked for a screw but they wanted a nut and in yet another they asked for a wheel, there was a ships wheel and a bicycle wheel both were wrong. They also hid things in shadows,so that I had trouble seeing them, that is just too easy an out for the designer.I would not recommend this game, even to a hard core HO fan!!
I don't recommend this game.

This game is so old fashioned it is positively nostalgic. It has nothing to recommend it ,but I bought it. I think it is because I really do like to do hidden object scenes (the more clutter the better) and this has plenty of them. The graphics are nothing to write home about, but they are clear and sharp.I found the music annoying at best, so I turned it off and put on my own. I haven't much clue about the story yet, so nothing to add there. I would not recommend, it to anyone but a die hard HO fan, who just enjoys a mindless HO scene every once in a while.
I don't recommend this game.

A good OK game. The graphics are clean and clear but a bit too simplistic, no great use of imagination. Story had a lot of red herrings but you can figure out -who dun it- pretty fast. I did finish the game, but one play is enough. I did not find one piece of jewelry, but I am not interested enough to go back and look for it. There were a nice amount of HO scenes, nice and readable ( important to me because I don't have the best eyesight) I would have liked a game with more pizzazz!

The graphics of this game are terrific. Part of the game is from the artist character's point of view and the way the paintings come to life is just great fun.The story is engaging and keeps you interested, even though i saw part of the ending coming early on I didn't care.I liked that the game proceeded logically. You were not bouncing all over the place looking for things and getting confused or forgetting how to get to one of your previous locations.HO scenes were not hard but enjoyable. Not to many of them and not too few. This was just a very good solid game on all levels.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed everything but the ending. It seemed a bit anticlimactic but this is a small complaint. Overall it was a good solid game not overly easy but not so hard you were grinding your teeth. A few of the clues seemed odd like using the violin string to saw the birdcage but again I don't know much about violin strings maybe the can be used as saws.As you can see my complaints are petty I did enjoy the game.
I recommend this game!
