This review is only based on a few hours' play so far, but this game is that good that I'd like to review it now!
This game is hard - there are no clues and you are plonked into rooms to find your way around a huge and beautiful mansion. Yes, you may get dizzy with the real-life room navigation, but it makes you feel like you are really there and adds to the adventure.
I agree with the reviewer who wrote that a quick Google search will retrieve a few good sites with clues, which I find myself now needing, as the level of difficulty has increased. But I did manage to solve a few of the safe puzzles on my own (very satisfying!).
This game is challenging and really gets your grey matter working. I'd advise anyone purchasing a brain-challenging game to:
(a) choose this game; and (b) search for games beyond the 'Brain Teaser' genre on the BFG website, as there are also great games under the puzzles section or hidden within other genres.
Well done to the developers - more good 'thinking' games like this please, and less dark/evil games. It would be great to have a game like this for landmark buildings or sites eg. the Vatican, historic buildings, etc.
I recommend this game!

I have just finished this game. It is lovely, heartwarming, and very relaxing after a busy day at work.
The scenery is gorgeous and there were enough puzzles and challenges to keep my interest. It was not overly difficult, but I did have to use the hints a few times.
I didn’t think the story was too short, as the puzzles you need to do prolong the game, unless you choose to skip them. I did not play the game in one sitting, but over several days after work.
The only criticisms I do have is that in the cave scenes my mouse dragged for no reason (not a mouse hardware problem, as it functioned normally out of the cave scenes), and just before the end of the game the whole game crashed on me and I had to restart, but luckily it worked again).
Yes, not finding hard to see hidden objects can also be frustrating, but I found this game a test of patience and memory – you don’t have a map to remember which locations you have to return to, but figuring it out is all part of the fun, and the evolving story.
Great work to the developers – we do need more calming, uplifting games and stories like this, even at the risk of them being called ‘saccharine’. I think evil, dark games leave you feeling depressed, but a game like this one makes you feel at peace and takes you out of a bad day.
The music was absolutely beautiful, as were the beach and wave sound effects.
Once I finished the game I recommended that a relative start to play it and she was hooked!
So sweet. I would encourage you to try it and/or buy it!
I recommend this game!

I am enjoying this game. It is colourful and takes a while to get into, but the graphics let it down. Compared with other games, the graphics are of a poorer quality.
Generally though, it is a cute storyline and would especially appeal to young girls or tweens. I also think it would be well worth buying if on sale, as it was when I purchased it, but I would not pay full price. A good starter game or for young children, so I won't bag it completely.
I recommend this game!

Yes! I bought this game based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and game information. It piqued my interest, so I bought it without playing the trial. I've only played about 15 minutes of the game and absolutely love it! It is well worth purchasing.
The music is lovely and soothing. The little people are cute and I like the noises they make when you pick them up, as well as their behaviour when they get hungry.
The graphics are top notch, colourful, and inviting. I feel like jumping into the water!
As well as the gardening/farming games I think more games around creativity, nature, and positive, uplifting storylines would be most welcome (and not the dark, evil stuff).
Well done with this game. I would like to see more like it please!
I recommend this game!

This game is relaxing. Yes you do a lot of clicking and the timer stresses you out a bit, but that is countered by the scenery, the sense of achievement in ticking tasks off the list, fun storyline and the tropical music (great for us in the Southern Hemisphere as it is currently winter down under!).
Problems? My game froze unexpectedly during one of earlier levels, but I just restarted the game and it fixed itself. Also, one of the sheep I was shearing ended up stuck fast in a corner and did not stop 'baa, baa-ing' no matter how many times I clicked on it or tried to give it water due to the water symbol above its head, but that did not affect my game.
All up, it is a great game to wind down with after a day at work, and to immerse yourself in a completely different world. The graphics and colour are great, and would appeal to all ages.
I would definitely recommend this game!

I love this game and would like to encourage others to try it!
The rooms are beautiful, and the music gorgeous - turn your PC volume right up to enjoy the instruments and finished pieces. I'm in a choir and love music, and this game not only helps you to think logically about the puzzle pieces, but teaches you how to understand music by ear. You don't have to be a trained musician and can teach yourself basic musical skills/appreciation - this game helps.
Downsides? I haven't encountered any. The puzzles are fairly easy to put together, depending on your own skill level, but really teaches you how to take the time to listen carefully to various instruments while learning some musical history.
I would encourage people to get this game. More musical games please!
