I played the demo until 1/2 way through level 7, with 12 more free minutes left. That's where the trouble started. The hints screen wouldn't go away even after I did what it wanted. When I clicked on a chore, it looked like it would 'take' but then several seconds later, a pop-up would tell me I didn't have enough food, or gold, or wood to accomplish the task. Before that the game play was very smooth. The story line was a continuation of a New Yankee 1 - btw, I can't find a NY3, was the game removed or does it have a different name?
If this had been edited at least 1 more time, most of the issues could have been taken care of. I write books and after the initial writing, I edit 3 times. This developer should stick to that rule; they'd get better reviews. In the writing world, that equals more $$$.
If you only want to play 6 levels of this game then I recommend. I you want to play to the end...

I play these games for fun. The Hint button is my friend - especially when they recharge really fast!!!
But not when it tells me 'Nothing to do here. Go somewhere else.' The last straw was when it told me to place something that I didn't even have.
The storyline was good. The premise of dark and light was very original - for me anyway.
The HOS were a little dark which made it kind of difficult to find things, but that really doesn't bother me.
It was the frustration level of not being able to figure where to go or what to do next.
I do recommend this game for someone who wants a true challenge.

I got the free trial and uninstalled it within about 5 minutes. It could have been a quicker uninstall but I looked around to see if I could make the changes that I wanted to the pictures. The first picture was a lion and it had 12 pieces - I would want at the minimum ten times more than that. I found where I could change the number to more pieces but I did not find a 'hide the finished picture' option but all the puzzles had a low number of pieces. To be honest, I wasn't in the game long enough to tell but I believe they are to be completed within a certain time limit. I do jigsaws to relax but I do want some small measure of challenge. If I want to play a time management game I'll go to Adelantado Trilogy.
I love the gameplay on Jigsaws Galore and wish they would put out a #2 version. I'd buy it up in a snap.
I don't recommend this game.

Overall, I liked the game very much.
Pros: I loved the characters and the accents and the interaction. Conversations were a bit quirky but I quickly got used to it. I believed these were real characters I would meet were I to make a visit to the swamps of America's deep south.
Cons: The game does some hand-holding and I prefer a bit of freedom when exploring a location. Although the hint process was nice - getting more hints as you needed them - some of the mini-puzzles needed more explanation.

I had a lot of fun with this game with only a couple small complaints. Some of the mini games needed a little more explanation; tried to figure them out but ended up having to use the Skip option. And - this next one might be because I'm not really a techy person and there may have been a simple fix for it - the HOS were wider than my monitor so I had to turn off the full screen option to find everything. The visual was gorgeous - the graphics very well done.
I recommend this game!

The game took me several hours to complete. Not as many hidden object games as I would like. Some of the mini puzzles were unique for me, and they were challenging until you figured out what the instructions were telling you, and then it suddenly made sense. Although there are some mini games I will never be able to figure out and will always skip. I am here to have fun after all and adding stress is not my idea of fun. I have not yet found a Mystery Case File game that was not jam packed with fun and had an great story to go with it.
I recommend this game!
Cursed House 2
Defeat the King of Demons and find a way to get out the Cursed House once again, banishing evil spirits, ghosts and demons from the house!

I've been a customer for several months and I've played several games. Most are a lot of fun, a couple were duds. I have never felt the urge or necessity to write a review until now. I've bought a couple of Match 3 games previously and enjoyed them, but Cursed House 2. OMG, I finally had to force myself to stop playing so I can go get something to eat. The game is not hard, yet it is challenging enough that you really have to stop and think about your next play. Each door leads you to a new set of challenges. The 1st lock is fairly easy but by the time you get through 5 or 6 levels, well, let me just reiterate - This game is addictive!!!
I recommend this game!
