I truly enjoyed every moment of this game. The graphics are perfect, the suspense, the pacing, the movement. A definite recommend for any HO gamer who loves Halloween. I had to skip past a few circle games I didn't quite get, but that's a minor. Fun play overall. You won't be disappointed!
I recommend this game!

I did not realize this game was one of those Points Adventure games until I opened the demo. The advert was a tad misleading, revealing it to be a super creepy Halloween game, which it is not. Recommended strictly for children or easy gamers who don't care for serious graphics.
I don't recommend this game.

Barely got ten minutes into this when I realized the 'flashback' portal was just another ridiculous medieval type fantasy game like Knights & Raiders etc. No thank you. Mystery, Suspense, Murder, and Ghosts/Haunted games are the real deal. If I wanted to play such fantasy childish nonsense I would have downloaded it.
I don't recommend this game.

I barely got through the swamp area near the beginning before becoming bored. I love haunted games and themes, but this one just dragged, along with the timer, which was on Casual mode. It just didn't seem to go anywhere, unlike other haunted/mystery HO games I've played and owned.
It looked interesting enough at the start but then it turned boorish. Nothing at all creepy or extraordinary, and the time between hints and continue drags horribly. There is no reason for things to "ghost out" seconds in-between hints and continued play. I fully expected this to be one of the ultimate legit Haunted Hause HO games, but it doesn't deliver. And very 70s-ish for a reunion that is allegedly supposed to be present day.
I don't recommend this game.

I've been playing HO games for many years now, so I guess that I'm an expert :)
I certainly had high hopes for this one... being titled 'haunted house'. Well those hopes fell flat after the game play commenced. Some areas moved rather slowly, and the audio was out of sync with the action. Much of the hi-tech graphics and interplay were honestly junior level at best. No actual 'scare' factor anywhere. And the search achievements repeatedly failed to cancel out, which forced me to move my mouse. And that should never happen. For a game titled 'haunted house' it was grade level at best.
And I don't mind virtual characterization, but captions are furiously irritating. My sound is always on, and my hearing is jut fine, so the added captions are basicially pointless. And most of them drag or move slowly anyway, which rudely takes away from the actual game play.
Overall, I expected this game to be more the adult level, gore-factor comparison, of the Ravenhurst series. But it wasn't.
For serious spook and Haunt fans, it will disappoint.
I recommend this game!

I got through 5 minutes of the 'movie' opening, wondering when the actual game was going to begin - which for me was quite annoying. Also, it plays in 32 bit when mine is 64, truly ruining the overall hi-def graphic quality from the developers.
Also, would have been more interesting for me if the movie didn't drag on - and no 'skip' feature in order to move along into the actual game. Otherwise, it may have been an interesting HO game to play, as a few others have stated.
I don't recommend this game.

I barely got through 5 minutes of this game before becoming bored. The opening characterization dialog is too long and moves too slow. The interactive startup is also slow, if you are an experienced HO game player - which I am.
I don't recommend this game for a serious HO adult player

My peeve with playing any HO game is the Hints feature. If it's complicated to use, or doesn't function during certain areas of a game - forget it. Fortunately, this HO game is easy-play and easily navigated. I'd recommend it for a ten-year old. The graphics are great. The animated VO's are short and sweet - not the long, boorish overacted ones I've seen with other HO games.
Well composed and drafted. Nice work
I recommend this game!

I only got into the Police station, following the opener, and already unimpressed, alongside numerous game play issues. The poorly operating Hint button; the orb, which glows-but no energy to use it just yet- so that only defeated the purpose. And the Hint button kept redirecting me to the outside fire, but, nothing to extinguish it with just yet ) :(
So far, horribly unimpressed. And the factor of no actual morphing objects, nor any HO areas just yet. Will not purchase.
