This game is challenging (very). Takes tons of patience to get through toward the end. I would have given it 4, maybe even 5 stars...until I got to the "final battle". Tackled if for at least 30 to 40 minutes...then gave up. No skip option, so I never finished the basic game. Disappointing!!
I don't recommend this game.

Ranks very high as one of the best games I've played among the many purchased on Big Fish. Can't imagine anyone not enjoying the challenges presented in Dark City: Amsterdam.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game. Don't be afraid to use hints when needed; there are dozens of locations that need to visited periodically throughout play. Ranks very high on my list of Big Fish games played during the past three to four years. Highly recommended

This game is, hands down, my worst purchase ever during three to four years buying games on Big Fish. I just spent two days trying to figure out how the game works, w/o success. Finally, I got sufficiently bored that I opted for "uninstall".
A quest to recover a mysterious relic has surprising implications!

This game is different and very challenging. Played one/two hours almost daily for about six months...never got tired of the challenges.
Pendle Tower was once a lavish high-rise hotel, but a new renovation has awakened a long-dormant secret within its foreboding halls.

First impression...this game is identifiable with those created decades ago. It's the first game of this type I've ever played, and the last (I hope). I had to force myself to click through all the printed, comic book style conversations between characters: way overdone!! The storyline is weak and boring. I fast clicked through the all too voluminous printed exchanges between characters. The only positive...if you want a game that goes on and on and on, this game might be for you. Test before buying!!!!
