Loaded OK, but difficult to play. Cursor does not always register with the item. Sometimes have to click several times on an item to get it to register. Game does not save where you leave off. Have to exit when at the beginning of a new scene, after the mini puzzle is done. Awful HO’s. Often junk piles and items don’t look like the object you are to find. Could not have completed the game without the hint button. The image of Linda is awful. I couldn’t help it, but the minute I saw her, all I could see was one of those adult sex dolls that had clothes painted on her. And Tom looks like a vampire. Wouldn’t want him as a boyfriend. Perhaps that is intentional. The Bonus game is short, with just a few HO junk scenes. What I find curious is how this game managed to get a collectors edition status. I bought it for that reason without looking at the reviews. Others have probably done the same. This game was worse than all of the SE games I’ve played. I’ve come to trust the CE title. Is that foolish of me? I hope this was a fluke, and that the CE title was not given in order to get more sales. To be fair, Big Fish sells it only as SE.
SPOILER ALERT. Following, are clues to some of the difficult spots. I couldn’t seem to get 3 stars into slots made for the 3 stars. I managed to get the sun and moon in, with many trials. Having read some readers comments, I positioned the stars almost ¼ in. down and to the low right of the slot, and got them in (several attempts). Same is true with the candle stick and the two clips around the painting in the church. Glass shards do not need to be rotated. Just place them as they are. With the note pieces, the right button would capture the paper, the left button rotated it. To open Tom suitcase, you have to place the red notes you found in his jacket to the center lower part of the suitcase. In another church, place the halos (in inventory) on the heads of the two paintings found on each side of the altar. Place the cross on the black tiny stick on top of altar, left. Place the gold cap (?) on top of the chalice on top of altar, right. All other problems can be found with the hint button.
I don't recommend this game.
