I spent two hours playing this game and it sudden shut down. When I relaunched it, none of my progress was saved and I was forced to start over. I had to sit through another two hours playing the exact same part and when I got to that part I was at finally, the exact same thing happened. I'm not taking a chance in putting that time in again a third time!
I just purchased this game. There was no opening menu to add the game, set options, etc., it just went right to the game. I accidentally hit that I needed help right off the bat and it put me into "tutorial" version which shows a blinking arrow all over the place, and doesn't allow the hint button to work. I tried to go to the menu options to turn this off, but there is no where to do so. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, that didn't help. It doesn't respond to "Exit" so I have to Control-Alt-Delete every time I want to shut the game down. I've given up, and I just wasted my points on an unplayable game.
The game in and of itself was okay, but it was SUPER short. I finished it in like an hour and a half. Usually I can kill a few hours playing these games, but this one was over before I knew it.
The game was the same old, same old hidden object game. It wasn't bad but it was extremely short. Being that is the most recent in the series, that was a disappointment.
I was reluctant to get this game because of the reviews. I didn't find the game to be horrible but I wonder why there was a warning attached to it. It wasn't scary, gory or mature in theme. It wasn't the best game I've played, but certainly not the worst.
I have played previous Vermillion Watch games and have really enjoyed them, but this one was all over the place. I felt like it had no rhyme or reason. The storyline was hard to follow. The positive I can give is that the graphics were good, but everything else just made no sense.
When I see a Mystery Tales game I usually get really excited, but when I played this game I found it boring. The graphics weren't bad, but the storyline was less than desirable. I wish BigFish would come out with more all human detective type games instead of all these fantasy types. But even as a fantasy type game, I thought this was a dud.
When you purchase a game, especially a collector's edition, you expect that it will at least last you a couple of hours of game time, but this game was really short. The story line was eh. It would probably be a good introductory game for someone new to these games, but for someone who has played a lot of them, I wasn't too impressed.
I recommend this game!

This game was cute. I enjoyed it, but I really hated the hidden object challenges. They weren't your typical "find this." It was "find this in order to find that." I don't mind that mixed in, but when it was every single one it became annoying, especially since the hint button took long to load, so if you got stuck you literally couldn't move onto finding another thing because each one was connected to finding the next.
I have played numerous hidden object games but this one is so hard. I spent more time trying to find walkthroughs online to figure things out then I did actually playing the game. If you can't figure something out there is no timer for hints. You have to find little bugs in order to get a hint. If you have no bugs, you have no hints, you can't move on. You can't skip puzzles unless you find a certain amount of bugs throughout the game so if you are stuck on a puzzle you simply can not move forward in the game. When you are looking for hidden objects they are spread throughout many different scenes so you have to go back and forth between different rooms/scenes to find things and that is really hard. If you like this type of challange then this game is for you, but for someone like myself who likes to play these games for fun...it was way too complicated and waste of time.
