I almost hated this game when I was playing in story mode. You have to use one color to solve everything and frankly it was, for me like pulling teeth. I'm just not good at those. I did finish the game and wondered what the colors button would do. You get at least two colors to work with and I could not be happier this option is available. Try both kinds in the demo to see which or if both will suit you!
I recommend this game!

This game is not for everyone! Definitely try the demo. For me it was pure action, pure heart attack and so fun to play! I wish the house and furniture looked more real but that's my only complaint. It's mostly jump out and startle you while solving puzzles but I love it. I hope they make a sequel!

For me, this is one of the best spooky, jump out of my skin kind of fun games since "Fright". It's also a big improvement over the two previous "Haunted Hotel" games so thanks for listening developers! If you want a longer preview, go to YouTube and search for Haunted Hotel: X gameplay. I like Brain Games best because they don't talk.
I recommend this game!

The other reviewers have broke this game down well. I would only add that the pictures shown do not do this game justice. I highly recommend trying the demo or Youtubing " European Mystery 3: Flowers of Death Gameplay" before you pass this great game up.

This was a great game. Try before you buy though. Do you like to turn the music off? well you can but you'll have to listen to it anyway. it was all you'd want it to be but for those that don't like music, beware.
other issue is the final battle. You have to do the whole battle with no instructions and no way to skip it. If you can't memorize the order of 8 things to click, you won't be finishing this game. I barely finished it but I had to go pull up the walkthrough to see what I was supposed to do.
Do I regret buying it? nope, it scared me several times so it's still a great way to get an adrenaline rush. If you don't like scary/creepy this will not be fun. I love being scared so I do recomend it. What a blast!

It was beautiful, fun and for once, outdid the original by miles. It's very customizable so it's as hard or easy as you want it to be. I hope they make another one!

What I came for:
As you play, you earn coins and stars to level with. I like having something to spend my coins on and I love fish tanks.

What I got:
I play to play the game. The tanks are a blast but getting good at getting 4's and 2 kinds of 5's, (bombs and lightening) is fun too because when you mix a 4 (line bomb) with another 4 or either 5, you get something completely different. Two lightning bombs clear the board if you can figure out how to get them by each other. I play in relaxed mode because I need the timer and oil turned off. You can turn off the bombs too in relaxed mode but I love those. You get to choose how difficult you want it to be. Try it out and see!

This series is just excellent, but for me, this had all the things I like in a game but with another really great story.I couldn't stop playing it! I got about 7-8 good hours of game play out of this one, maybe more because I kept loosing track of time.
Pros: Customizable difficulty, a fully functional jump map (you can't jump floors though) and you are offered various kinds of HOS or a match 3 game. I love this option because instead of using hints, I find what I can then switch gameplay. It's all gaming all the time.
Cons: I never play the music so that might be fine but I found some of the background sound to be really annoying. That's literally all I could find to dislike.
The mini-puzzles range from somewhat easy to difficult. Even though I loved it, I suggest either playing the free trial or Youtube it and skim through the first HO scene to get a better idea if you'll like it too. Big Fish has a YouTube channel and it's much bigger than the one you see on Big Fish. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I found the story to be unique, It's my first where famous authors disappear.
Pro's
Customizable dificulty levels so I was able to turn off the sparkles.

The HOG's are a mixed bag but they use the whole room with pockets of items. Very new for me.
The graphics are really good, I love all the color.
The mini-games were not difficult which I prefer. I'm playing to relax, I'm not interested in doing mental gymnastics.
Cons: I so don't need the singing ghosts.
Overall a great game.
I recommend this game!

I really wanted to love this game. It looks pretty it has both match 3 and HO's, what could there be not to like?
It's very confusing. to start with, there's a story in it I can tell but I've spent the last 45 minutes feeling like I started playing one of the Awakening games and accidentally dropped acid in the process. It is pretty in the parts that don't look like 3 different games ductaped together. It's clunky too. I spent a good 3 minutes trying to use a magic paintbrush on the flowers it was meant for, just to find I was supposed to click the pointer on them to trigger the match 3 game. I'm giving up. Sure wish I'd done the trial.
