This game is a new level of Match 3 games for me. Amazing 3D graphics, pleasant music, exciting gameplay, perfect balance and challenges... Storm Tale 2 has everything to become one of my favorite games of this genre!
Completing match 3 scenes you earn some gold for building sawmill, mine, cottages and other buildings you need to protect the village as well as prepare for the evil's attack. In addition to match 3 levels, there are also other puzzles. I like hidden object levels there you can rotate the room.
I love all the features of the game making it not a common boring match 3 but something more!
I love Ancient Egyptian culture with all those pyramids, animal-headed gods, myths, mummies and worship of cats. And I was really happy to see a new game based on it. Worrying about a few previous reviews, I decided to play a demo first. But everything was fine, the game worked perfectly on my laptop, and I quickly realized that I fell in love with this game!
It’s so beautiful, colorful and fascinating, full of funny details (mummies as workers, battering ram crashing the gate while you try to collect resources and prepare the trap on time and making you really feel yourself inside besieged city, Bastet’s totem helping you to move faster than cats, interesting ways to defeat the Roman soldiers, nice-looking Hapi and much more) and additional brainteasers (like to find the right order of offerings opening the way to hermit’s hut). The graphics are high quality and pleasing to the eyes. The music is funny and not annoying. The plot is exciting and extraordinary. The gameplay is well known to all the fans of time management games (especially Hercules and Megara series) but has unique features and a nice level of challenge.
Playing as a charming Queen Cleopatra, you may improve your charm level (which is funny but logically for me). That's a pretty interesting feature adding new unique strategy elements in the gameplay. You can increase your charm level improving the equipment (i.e. Cleopatra’s clothes, jewelry and pieces of décor) for stars in the separate window as well as visiting beauty salons and fountains of youth on the levels. Equipment increases charm level permanently, and visiting salons or fountains works for the current game level only.
Charm level helps you during the playing two ways: it helps to defeat (for Cleopatra it means “kiss”, lol) some enemies and makes available different bonuses (move faster, work faster, more resources etc.) So, there appears an additional thing to think about while you play a level, I mean the question what to do right now: to spend resources for visiting a beauty salon and get necessary bonuses, or remove the obstacles first, and then visit the salon, or not visit the salon at all. Plus, after getting bonuses for charm levels and equipment it’s much easier to go back to the previous levels you completed with 1-2 stars and replay them for 3 stars or beat developer’s records.
All the above makes this game great for me! Definitely worth a try demo at least!
This is amazing continuation of Megara’s adventures! I love new features, objects, graphics and the whole theme (toys, sweets, child’s play). The game is very colorful and funny; it’s pleasing to the eyes as well as for mind. Many challenges, unique tasks and enemies await us in pursuit of Antigone. Bubble gum puddles make the workers slower, windup mice steal resources, tin warriors block the path, strange many-eyed monster petrify the workers and so on. For completing some levels you need not just run and clear the roads but also you need to solve the riddles and puzzles (for example, rotate the blocks and find necessary order of pictures for opening the gate to the town of childhood). Although the gameplay is well-known and similar to the previous game (as well as to Hercules games), all these tasks and unusual view of resources and buildings (cotton candy working like a bush etc.) add diversity and lots of fun!
Equipment is another very special feature of this game creating new strategic opportunities and goals. You collect the gems looking for puzzle pieces and hidden objects or completing the achievements, and then you can buy helmets, boots and other equipment. Every item gives its own bonus, belongs to a special set and can be put on or off according to your needs. For some levels you can choose equipment increasing running or working speed, for others you can wear items protecting from petrifying or something else. That’s really interesting to choose which item to buy right now, and which item is better for the specific level.
The plot of the game is quite interesting and has some unexpected twists. The graphics are colorful and sometimes even adorable (what a funny huge cat on the map). The very first levels of the game are not that fascinating but the further you get the more interesting they become.
Compared to the previous game, I noticed some other improvements: no annoying wizards, better balanced gameplay and tasks, improved map containing blocks of cups describing all the achievements (for example, in the Hercules games, the descriptions of achievements are scattered on the map which is not that convenient). In addition, now the levels are not blurred before you start playing, and you can read the dialogues, examine the level map, think out some strategies, and only after that start playing.
The Collector’s Edition includes extra chapter, wallpapers and guide (text-and-picture guide). Worth to buy for playing more levels and having more fun.
This is super fascinating game differing from many other match 3 games! Here it's not enough just to move matching gems - you have to think about every next step! And I love it!
How to fire the cannon (and which of cannons)? How to collect the oil, melt the ice, remove ladybugs and reach the coins? What is the best sequence of actions? To complete the level you need to think about all of this! It requires lots of strategically thinking, makes every next level special and doesn't let you get bored!
In addition to match 3 levels, there are other puzzles in the game: solitaire, mahjong, hidden objects, "find the differences" etc. Despite the fact that I played this game because I wanted to play match 3, I found these extra puzzles appropriate and entertaining. If someone won't, he or she can just skip annoying levels.
The graphics are colorful and bright. Music is pretty funny but not loud and annoying. The dialogues are simple and don't really hide any interesting story but that's okay for this type of games.
I couldn't stop playing this game! There are tons of fun and different levels uniting clutter and other types of puzzles (mahjong, jigsaw etc.) We match both items and tiles, faces and emojis, pictures and abstract colored figures. Every next level becomes harder and brings new challenges you will never be tired of.
The only wish is another font which would more comfortable for reading. Because I really like to read the texts and quotes appearing in this game. All the rest is just perfect!

Yay! I’m happy! I really love “Travel Mosaics” series as well as the Walker family, and I was looking forward to the next game for really long time (it’s been almost 8 months since the 12th part was released). And finally it’s here! The game changed its format. And I worried about this after reading previous reviews, and decided to try the demo first and sort things out. Are the changes for better or worse? I think, mostly, for better.
Good changes:
- More tiles to select. Now we have 12 versions for tiles and 12 versions for empty spots for all tastes. That’s much more and much better than it was, I like it!
- Calm and beautiful music and SFX. The previous games had funny and nice but sometimes distracting melodies. New music is just perfect!
- Animated graphics. It looks wonderful!
- No more formal descriptions of tourist attractions (book icon in previous games). Now the Walkers themselves tell us interesting facts about different locations combining it with jokes. I like to read dialogues more than descriptions, so that’s a good change for me!
- New mode – Zen mode. Playing “Travel Mosaics” I always selected “difficult” mode, though in other games I often play “Zen” mode. I’m glad that now I can do the same here, too!
- Names of the pictures\levels. Mostly the nonograms in “Travel Mosaics” series are easily recognizable. But sometimes the level names are very useful.
Neutral changes (for me):
- No puzzle levels. I loved some types of puzzles, and it was funny to distract and solve them. But others I just skipped. So… their absence is not that bad! The main thing that there are still 140 nonogram levels which I love much more!
- No quiz questions. It was educational part of the game (now the dialogues do the same thing) which I never used. I just try do no mistakes (quiz questions appeared after more than 2 mistakes). So, I don’t care about this change!
- No trophy room. Just never liked it.
Conclusion: mostly the changes are for better. Yes, the game looks a bit unusual. But amazing atmosphere, favorite characters, interesting and logic based nonograms getting harder after first few levels are still there! Try the game and see yourselves!
My favorite game of Hercules series is the 8th, i.e. “How I Met Megara” with young Herc, lots of cats, humor, mummies and beautiful love story. But this new game probably will be my top-2, or even top-1 (I didn’t finish 2 last chapters yet)! Emma is cute, and her super power to paint reality is superb! I also like this new music melody differing from previous games as well as puzzle pieces under other objects (this time not only under bushes, but also under sheep and goats we have to launch to space).
The gameplay is well-known to all the fans of this series. We clear the roads, build the buildings, chop the trees and wooden columns, collect resources and different bonus pills (as in the previous game). Hercules moves the boulders and other heavy objects, Megara grows the bushes, and the Worker makes everything else. New features are two new characters: Emma drawing everything we need to move further, and Achilles beating the guard dolls. Achilles is pretty funny, and Emma is cute. I like them.
We can play Relaxed, Casual or Expert mode, earn achievements and beat the records as well as unlock the bonus levels (after collecting puzzle pieces and completing the jigsaw) and build the paper castle. The levels are various, colorful and unique. Lots of them involve great deal of strategy thinking to beat developer’s score.
Collector’s Edition includes wallpapers, guide (blue arrows which you can turn on or turn off whenever you need), and extra chapter about Hercules’ adventures to enjoy this game longer!
What a lovely game! I like everything about it! The graphics are high quality, colorful and pleasing to the eyes. The plot is funny, fascinating and purr-fectly sweet. The music is beautiful and calm, sounds are not annoying, and “Meow” every time the kitten goes to fight ghosts is adorable. The gameplay is very similar to Hercules games but looks more creative, fresh and original.
We still need to remove the obstacles, build the bridges, farms and workshops to go further. But also we have a great number of unique objectives, enemies and obstacles. It’s not just “clear the road” for hundred times. To open the gate or catch Amalthea we need the workers to stand the platforms. To defeat the Treebull we need the red fabric. This is very funny as well as fighting roots, moles and plants, waking up hydra etc. Even the food can look not only like boring cheese but haunted pumpkins, sliced fish, grapes inside the shells. Thanks to all these things I felt I play a brand new game with its own features, not just a common copy of my favorite games.
The very first levels of the game are quite easy. But after there appear new obstacles and difficulties such as dark levels there we need to light the firepits, seabed levels with cursed shells that have to be de-spelled by the kitten, and of course the levels with the wizard catching the workers. This wizard was mentioned in several previous reviews, and I might say that at first he was a problem for me, too. But just at first. And just because I didn’t expect these traps. Actually, there are only 3 or 4 levels with wizard, and these levels require the special strategies and attention. I think that’s fine for the strategy game.
The Collector’s Edition includes extra chapter, wallpapers and guide (text-and-picture guide, not blue arrows like in last Hercules games). Worth to buy for playing more levels and having more fun.
I hope that “Adventures of Megara” will become a series of games. For now, I like it even more than Hercules games (sorry, Herc). I always thought that Megara is really interesting and heroic character deserving attention. And I’m really glad she got it!
I like games having a plot so that you solve the puzzles not only for solving puzzles. This game has interesting story at the very beginning: you have to stop the monsters who came to Earth for the crystals. This story has no continuation, and that's a bit disapponting. But the whole idea is nice.
To stop the monsters you need match 3 monsters in a row. It's weird but there is no option to match 3 vertically (only horizontally). At first it was annoying but finally I decided that it makes the game more challenging, so that's okay.
I like the emotions and faces of monsters after you click them. They're funny. Though mostly the game graphics is not superb.
I was going to give this game 5 stars but suddenly... I stuck on the level 12. I don't mean it was too challenging. I literally stuck, couldn't click any button on the field and had to close the whole window using win button on my laptop. After restarting the game everything was fine. I don't think that everyone will face this problem. But anyway, this thing + few disappointments I mentioned above = 4 stars.
Though I can recommend this game for match 3 fans. It's pretty funny and well-made.

“Alexis Almighty: Daughter of Hercules” is a new time management game related to the series about Hercules’ labors which I like from the very first part. Our brave Hercules went to fight against Chronos but the cunning god of time cast a spell and made Hercules old. Now all the Hellas is in great danger. The only person who’s ready to stop Chronos and his minions is Alexis, teenage Hercules’ daughter.
The gameplay is well-known to all the fans of Hercules games. You collect food and wood, clear the roads, build producing buildings and complete level objectives. The first chapter is quite easy, and you can complete it very fast (I did it for 30-40 minutes). That’s okay for the beginners. The next chapters make you to think about strategies. At first, I thought that the second chapter is super challenging and impossible to be completed at 3 stars. But then I got what to do with Chronos’ clock: if you find yourself running out the time, just don’t hurry to complete the last objective, wait, use Chronos’ clock and complete the objective. That’s pretty funny, original and interesting because, mostly, TM games require you to complete the objectives ASAP. I bet all other chapters hide their own different secrets like that, and the player just need to discover them to earn 3 stars at every level.
Graphics and artwork differ from the Hercules series. The objects are larger, and drawn deliberately childish. I think that’s how Alexis sees this world (she’s a hero but still a child, too). It looks a bit weird if you got used to Hercules’ graphics but at the same time it reminds you: this is another game. The music is funny and not annoying.
There are 3 difficulty modes in the game: easy, normal and difficult. Collector’s Edition contains extra chapter, interactive guide and wallpapers. All the levels hide puzzle pieces. If you find them all and assemble the puzzle pictures, the bonus levels get available. (Btw, if you didn’t like the puzzle pieces under other objects in the last Hercules game, here you will find the classic version of looking for the puzzle pieces)
I’m sure that kids will love this game for its graphics and main character. Adults will love it for creative gameplay solutions of how to complete the levels at 3 stars (after they get used to this new style).
