A sweet story, but, boring play. Nothing new or unusual; guess I'm too "JADE"d - hee hee hee. (Sorry - couldn't resist the pun!) The music was soothing and the visual aspect of the game was very nice. Think the game is appropriate for very young players.
This is #3 in the Vacation Adventures: Cruise Director. It is a fun, enjoyable, relaxing game with just enough "having to put on the thinking cap" to keep things interesting. Casual Arts is one of the best at this type of relaxing fun.
Another Park Ranger game from Casual Arts and it is just as good as the previous 3. I just adore these games; they are relaxing, fun, and a visual treat. Not too hard and not too easy - just right :-). I am looking forward to more games from this developer.
It was supposed to be a routine mission. But when a dragon attacks your plane, crash-landing in a lush valley, you're drawn into the adventure of a lifetime!
Enchanting story, beautiful graphics, excellent game play, lovely music, and a "whole lotta fun"! This developer, Eipix, is an automatic "buy" for me and once again, I have been lifted into a different world. Even as the Myth unfolded, I was transported to China. Disbelief was suspended as I worked to restore the balance needed to save the planet :). ENJOY!
Number 3 in the series by Casual Arts and it lives up to the first two. No, it isn't all that difficult; it is relaxing, enjoyable fun. Various types of puzzles and the music is non-intrusive. Give yourself a gift of a pleasurable game and buy this as I did :).
Without warning, a group of mysterious figures arrives and reduces your village to flames and rubble. What do they want... and who is controlling them?
I was ENTHRALLED with this game. The Developers have done a fantastic job creating an immersive environment. The play was more logical (to me) than others have been lately and not too much "to and fro". The HOPs and puzzles were innovative and delightful. As soon as I finished the demo, I purchased. WELL DONE, MAD HEAD GAMES:)!
Developer: Puzzle Labs Review based on Demo. Lovely graphics, pleasant music, and intriguing game play. In fact, this is the first time I have ever seen a "double" HOP. If you click on a certain area during a HOP, you get sent to another HOP. It's the same area, but, the items are in different places. When you complete both puzzles, you get an item you need. Another intriguing puzzle is the stained glass. First you have to place the lead and then the glass. Fun :). There is a bit more back and forth than I like, but, the map allows you to jump. The story: As a child, walking along with parents, I see an interesting object called a homunculus (a representation of a small human being). I run toward it and WHAM an eerie blue light appears. I end up in the hospital and parents are gone. I keep the homunculus with me and one day after a particularly bad dream, it points the way to South America. I set off on the adventure to try to find some answers. As soon as I finish this review, I will be buying this game. Enjoy :)!
Based on Demo: The darkness in some of the HOPs made the thing very difficult at times. In fact, the whole thing is somewhat dark. The puzzles were challenging - for me :) - and the "to and fro" was more than I like. The premise of the game is interesting: 5 Mafia bosses go "poof" in green smoke and nothing is left but a green goop. OK - not that big a deal, right - it's Mafia :). But, CHILDREN are also vanishing and THAT is not OK. Only clue seems to be butterflies. Reporter (our character) receives a message from a Mr. Bishop to meet him at the museum to help solve this. The music was non-intrusive, graphics were very well done, albeit too dark in some places, and the game play was interesting and fun. Some of the play was very challenging for me as a beginner, but, I imagine those who are expert will have no difficulty. Now, off to purchase :).
I have arrived for my sister's wedding when, suddenly, a huge bear invades the village and takes my sister! I have only played the Demo, but, I will be buying this game. The graphics are exquisite, music is ethereal, and the cut scenes informative. Not too much going back and forth and what there is seems reasonable. Hidden objects scenes - few - are relatively easy and the puzzles not too difficult. (I imagine the more experienced gamers will not have any difficulty, but, for me were just the right amount of "having to think".) I'm looking forward to finishing this game.
I have only played the Demo, but, plan to buy this game. For a "newbie" to game play, I found this to be an immensely enjoyable game. I especially enjoyed the "customization" feature in the difficulty section. The hour flew by I was so caught up in the story and playing. The hidden object scenes were not too dark and seemed to be entirely in keeping with the story line. The music was appropriate for the game and not intrusive. The game play did not have a great deal of going to and fro from one place to another (a personal pet peeve) and seemed to follow a logical path. Overall, I am very pleased with this game and the developer, Eipix.
