I really enjoyed Cave Quest 1 and I was reluctant at first. What? No snow and ice? But I am pleasantly surprised and I have to say that Cave Quest 2 is an excellent sequel. The gameplay is similar enough to be enjoyed and different enough to be challenging. However, I wish BigFish would have mentioned in their description that this is certainly no game for people suffering from arachnophobia. I would imagine that some players might find the spiders quite difficult to accept.
What a disappointment! I thought I can't go wrong with yet another "Travel Mosaics" and bought it without playing the demo. There are no jigsaws or picture puzzles at the end of each level. This is THE feature I was looking forward to the most. Even the nonograms are boring! I have learnt my lesson and will not buy another "Travel Mosaic" without playing the demo.
We Vacation Adventurers spend our holidays either on a cruise ship or in Pinecreek Park. Why? Because we love it! I don't get tired of visiting the same places again and again. It's like coming home! If you don't like this concept then simply do not play this series. I deducted one star because I was a bit disappointed about the choice of mini games. Some of which are repetitive and I have played them in previous versions. Come on, you can do better than that! However, it will not stop me from playing it over and over (and over!) again...
I have bought every game of this series. I enjoy the gameplay and the fact that it is a bit more challenging than the average mosaic game. So I got this one without trying it out. What could possibly go wrong??!! Not the game, but the background! I have skipped whole levels as i could not bear the fireworks! It is highly annoying and I cannot concentrate at all. Please, please no more backgrounds in motion!!
The graphics are awesome, beautiful colours and music, but the most tedious game in the universe! Played the demo, got bored (and annoyed) and uninstalled it.
It seems I am not the only one who waited impatiently for a new Vacation Adventure! It is a year ago we last visited the Pinecreek Park. It is good to see the well-known faces and locations again and find some new sites and features, too. I simply love this series!! I deducted one star because for me there were too many "Find-25-identical-pieces-levels", which I find rather tedious. Some may like it - I don't. All in all a great game and I will surely play it over and over again!
Wow! Thank you Bigfish for this wonderful challenge! I really enjoyed it - however, there are two snags: 1. The hints are completely useless! 2. The map only directs you to the rooms you have already played. I spent too much time running around to find the next available room. Apart from that I still enjoyed it very much and I am looking forward to the next episodes with Dr. Arcana.

YES! Another road trip! I enjoyed travelling through the USA and was really looking forward to new locations. All in all it is a great game when you love HOPs. No story, no inventory, simple game fun. I love the cats. Why only 4 stars you might ask? Because there are two locations where you can only find the special objects by getting out of the fullsreen mode. The small screen is ridiculously small!!
@DBGIRL: You can find the coin in level 8 by minimizing your screen. It's located on the lantern on the left.
I am a great fan of the Cursed-House-series and I found Laruaville just 'okay'. Now Laruaville 8 changed it all. I just love the new features like the red fields or the chain reaction with the small bombs. And the once indestructible rocks crumble... Thank you BigFish!
I have checked BigFish daily for a new Cursed-House-release! And yes! Today I was lucky! I don't understand the negative reviews as I am pleased that the gameplay ist just like it was in the previous games. I don't need or want surprises. The reason for 'only' 4 stars is that I miss the Bonus-Game-Feature from Cursed House 5 which I temendously enjoyed
