This game ROCKS! It is one of the best games Big Fish has put out in a LONG time. For those of you still heartbroken over the mess that was the new MCF game, come and quell your sorrows with some serious fun!!
Excellent graphics, nice quick game play, challenging puzzles. Trophies which are hard but way fun to get. A timer in Unlimited mode. I've had this game for a couple of days, and I've played it four times!! This one is a keeper!!
The story actually resolves like you're solving a mystery, and best of all NO CUT SCENES!! I HATE having my game play interrupted by pointless cut scenes throughout. This story provides you with clues at appropriate intervals.
I just cannot say enough good things about this game, I'm really happy with it :D
I recommend this game!

If I wanted to sit through that many interruptions and that much pointless dialogue, I'd watch television.
I don't recommend this game.

This is not the beautifully rendered game that the previous ones were. With the more realistic graphics, and the live videos, I might as well be watching television (the interrruption of live video in the game is like having commercials). The earlier MCF games were great, especially Madame Fate, but this one is just dull. The hidden object scenes drag through a whole room or too, the puzzles are too easy, all in all I think the MCF crew has gone completely off the track. This is no longer the awesome series it once was,
I don't recommend this game.

Mystery Case Files®: Escape from Ravenhearst™ Collector's Edition
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

Well I have to say I am impressed. This game is great. The morphing object scenes are cool, although I would have liked more than just 1 actual Hidden Object Scene, the plot was good and tied up some loose ends from other games, the graphics and sound were excellent, way, way, WAY better than last year's game (forgot the name, guess I blocked it out). LOVED the Strategy Guide, nice and simple to use, mini games were neat, getting back toward the kind of games from the original Ravenhearst, and Madame Fate, glad to see. Looking forward to next year's game. Is it out yet? :)
I recommend this game!
