Based on the demo, I can already tell that this is an awesome storyline if you can get past the constant back-tracking, lack of map, and the character's lip syncing/mouth movements wasn't the best (so far).
The story is very captivating, and in no time my hour was up!
However, due to the above issues, I might just try out the second game since it's newer and more polished.
Still, from what I've read/heard, it is worth purchasing if you really love the story!

I love Steampunk and a great adventure, but I'm not sure if the storyline of this is for me.
Don't get me wrong, the visuals are beautiful and express the "steampunk era" nicely, the puzzles were creative and not too challenging, and the characters I had seen so far weren't bad by any means.
But the accents made me cringe a bit, and without giving away spoilers, what happens at the very beginning of the game seemed a bit rushed to me, as I felt I hadn't really gotten a feel of the characters much at all.
Where the demo ended did seem intriguing, though.
I'd recommend this to those who love steampunk and solving out-of-the-box puzzles. :)

This sequel was better than the first one, in my opinion, based on the demo.
The visuals had improved, and the characters looked less "wooden."
I still wasn't enamored with the storyline of the game, as I think it's just not my thing, but from what I've read/heard, the epilogue should satisfy many who do love this series. :)
I'd recommend it for those who love the firs game, Botany, or just a change from creepy/spooky games.

This game was different, and a nice change of pace from the creepy/spooky games that usually are found.
It wasn't exactly my cup of tea storyline wise, but I thought that the demo did a good job of showing the visuals, play style, and where the story appeared to be going. I also played the sequel demo, which wrapped up this game for me in the beginning, so I don't really have much need to buy this.
I'd recommend it for those who love Botany, or a change from creepy/spooky games.

This game continues to expand upon the story, giving somewhat of an epilogue (though there is obviously another one out and one in the making).
I say this one was a bit lacking as there were a lot of puzzles, which for me can be a bit much at times.
Before I knew there was a fifth game, I was a bit disenchanted by this addition, as I felt the "ending" was rushed, and since I didn't know there was a fifth one, I felt a bit cheated with a cliffhanger. The fifth game rectifies this.
I recommend this game as it does wrap up a lot of things, despite being puzzle heavy and a bit rushed, in my opinion.
