This game seemed SO promising at start, it is nearly unbelievable to admit, that it is not up to usual standard here.
Story is dull and you only have to save your daughter. She was kidnapped by toy elephant (oh yes) and now little evil vampire tries suck her soul and revive his own parents, which were murdered long ago. It still could be decent, but gameplay was poor. Mouse worked on active areas extremely slowly - in 3-match parts it was nearly impossible to get enough points, because it did not switch diamonds half of the time. There are many rooms in this game, but you have usually only one or so things do there, so it feels totally empty (and could be good). Some minigames were decent and HO scenes were good, I would score them 4 stars. Well, the rest was much worse. I must say, that when finished main story, bonus content was opened, I was really worried there is more gameplay of this - but no, only art, music, wallpapers. Propably the best of this game. Be there half of locations but more action in each, better story and not so terribly slow mouse, it would be quite good. But now I cannot recommend, sorry (only if you do not mind).
I don't recommend this game.

I am really surprised by how bad reviews this game got. I really wondered whether buy or not, because only 2 stars usually means not good purchase. This is - at least for me - exception. This game is nice to look at, sound is pleasant and fit well. There is a lot of differences from other games, so it is neccesary to be prepared for different things. HOG scenes are two sorts - one of them is that kind like in "depth of betrayal" - click on golden pearl and there pop up circles - needed things and you have to search the scene. The second kind is normal - search according to shapes or names. There are many minigames, most of them not that hard. It is good to notice, that restart is left little circle and skip button is the right little circle of the minigame. It took me some time (well - nearly till the end) to get this. There is also some cooking - several times you have to prepare elixir or something like it - the only thing annoyed me - it was kind of slow. And still something - there are tiny violet sparkles, which show places of interest and with help of them, it was not difficult proceed in game. Though I have found also walkthrough and used it twice or so, when was not clear what to do next and when hint was not exactly helpful.
So I would recommend this game, but strongly recommend NOT to skip tutorial (as I did and then had to catch a lot of things during gameplay).
I recommend this game!

This is the third game in a row of Nevertales series. I enjoyed it slightly less than the first or the second part. I would agree with those, who say it really looks more like for children. Puzzles were very easy and the only thing, that could made them challenge, was the lack of proper instruction, with the emphasis exactly on "proper". The graphics is again beautiful, amazing (great for wallpaper)... The story is OK, but I felt more like looking at interactive fairytale than solving game. Too little of freedom what and when to do. HO scenes were very different, not boring. In case you love standard looking for written items, you should know, that there is only handful of them there, more often there are pictures, which are hidden somewhere. Bonus content is full of additive games, not only bonus chapter. Only one advice for players - you really should not play this after any Mystery Case Files game. I did the mistake - played after Madame Fate - and I believe my too easy puzzle feeling could be connected to intensive challenge of Mystery Cases. But when you search for nice scenes and easy time spending - go a try this.
I recommend this game!

Start of this game was similar like in The Fog (which is also my favourite game). Car has an accident, you are inside with daughter of your friend and stop at the motel maybe to get help or to buy a snack. But the girl is kidnapped and the whole area does not look like at first. Everything is timeworn, crumbling, and strange things happen and ghosts are haunting the area. There are also strange locks on several doors, that are apparently somehow magic-modified, opened with war medals. Everything is pleasantly creepy, grim and dark. This is an adventure game - no HO scenes at all. But very nice game - I felt like inside Psycho thriller here and there. The only minus I had found - there is no map and hint does not show direction, only "here is nothing", but I can live with this.
I recommend this game!

Usually I cannot agree with reviews full of critics. But in case of this game - you should probably believe to those, who give 1-2 stars only. The game is nearly impossible to play without hint. At first I tried to search, but I was afraid my eyes could simply fall out of my head before I would find all these miniature items. Some minigames like find paires or crosswords were very good (for these 2 stars and not 1). The story is tedious, lot of reading. Hidden object scenes are sort of tragic. Part of them very very dark, some items only 1-2 mm large. There is magnifier and battery, that can be used, so it was bigger but blurred then.Well, I would not buy it again - can think about cheaper source of frustration :-) than this. But you can try - maybe miracle happens and someone can find it amazing (wish you good luck).
I don't recommend this game.

This game is not bad, but not the perfect one. You start to investigate case of missing young musicians and can see also some quick aging in the city. There is a boy, who wants to free Prince of Void - he (musician himself) kidnapped these 2 friends of his and wants them to play special music. The idea is not bad, though why wants Francois do this is not explained. Gameplay is not bad. I was not happy about the map missing. The game was slower and slower to the end of story (maybe problem is on the side of my PC), and I had no chance to teleport - and it sometimes took up to 15 seconds to start next scene. Graphics was mostly nice, but here and there with that hazy tint, which I truly do not like. Puzzles were very very easy and none of them took more than several minutes, often only seconds. HO scenes were good, most of items easy to find (but less easy that minigames). Game is not too short, I must admit to the end I was slightly annoyed with the slowness and easyness that I was nearly looking for the end. All together - I would recommend this game for beginners, maybe for more skilled, but with the idea in mind, that this is really easy game - though on hard mode.
I recommend this game!

This is really amazing game. I bought this one only because this was daily deal. But now I would recommend purchase to everybody. Game is quite long and I like the entire idea. You are continually overworked person, do a mistake - car crash and found yourself in sort of dreamy world, where you try to find your place / role. Every single (4 together) world you get through help you to open a way out of a dream - and then start to do what you want and not what are others expecting you will do for them. The dream worlds are nice and you will mostly help others there. HO scenes are plenty and quite good. Minigames are not too frequent and rather easy, but it is the only thing I would point out, that could have been slightly better. So if you cannot decide to buy or not - I think this is good choice.
I recommend this game!

I really do not understand to these harsh reviews. This games is no doubt one of the best I have played in last months. I have played advanced level, like usually. It has some things, that could be better, but not many of them. The graphic is beautiful. Everything is clear, no fog (I really hate foggy game, where everything is shrouded in something like mist). HO scenes are rather easy, not grainy, no problem to spot what you need. Not too much backtracking (I do not mind some, so for me there could be more). Puzzles were nice, easy, I have skipped none of them. I have found only one nuisance - when you take or get something, so the thing does not go directly to tools, but stay a while on the screen - so this was mildly boring. I would recommend this game for those, who like snowy scenes, nice graphic (it sooo nice only to look at it) and pleasant game play - for deep and intricate stories I read books, so I do not need one here necessarily.
I recommend this game!

This is really good game.
It is not short, on the contrary. Graphics is nice, clear, beautiful colours. I have played "advanced" player like usually and it is exactly what it should be - no sparkles, but hint charges quite quickly, when neccesary. And on the map can be found places, where is an action available. I did not skip any puzzle, so everything is possible to do. Though probably all of this I have already seen (nothing new) and one was in another game quite the same (not only similar). But this riddle was one of these more challenging - it only did not take me so much time like at first, since I have done it once already. HO scenes were OK, things not too small, quite easy to recognize. Game did not show flaws, it did not make PC to restart or anything like this. Good work.
I recommend this game!
