Nice to be back reviewing after a "vacation" of 3 weeks.
This is a difficult one, part of me likes this game , part of me hates it.
I like something that is different but first off I hated that when you clicked on something, you then had to assign a worker to do the task. Note to developers, this takes up valuable time and makes it extremely difficult to achieve 3 stars on timed or even 2 stars.. You are basically clicking twice to get anything done.
This is a difficult one, part of me likes this game , part of me hates it.

I like that this is not your normal tm and found it interesting to have to change crops in the same field and upgrade store rooms etc in order to get your goal.
The makings are there for this to be a very good game .
And now we come on to is this CE worthy? No way.
Strategy guide was pointless, the idea of a strategy guide is to help if you get stuck , this just sticks you even more, no help what so ever.

The jigsaw pieces are so hard to see even with a magnifying glass which I use at times but you can at least replay the level to just search for the piece.
On relaxed I found this doable but on timed so stressing.

I like that they have tried to do something different but it is just way too hard, not worth a CE price at all.
You need to tone it down a bit guys, make it more playable and you could be on to a winner.
Some games start way too easy but this one starts way too hard.
If you like something different then when the SE comes out this could be worth a go.

Each time one of these games comes out I think, surely it can't get any better, but they do. Without giving away too much you save dragons, sheep, rescue workers turned in to pigs and so on..
There is so much going on here and even mini games as a side line which is totally up to you if you want to do.
I am fortunate enough to have played the whole game and believe me it does not disappoint.
The write up here says 17 bonus levels but I could only find 10 unless they are including the mini games.
The bonus levels you get once you have all the jigsaw pieces. The only strange thing is I got to the 8th Bonus level then could not find any more but according to the strategy guide I was 2 levels short. I did at first play on the relaxed level so maybe you get the extra ones on a harder level?
I am not sure re that.
There are also 15 CE levels plus a worthy strategy guide so if you can, get the CE, it is well worth it.
So now all I have to say is bring on number 10

Yes this game does start off with not too much of a challenge but further in to this it is really challenging.
What I love is you can set this game the way you like it. The colors are bright and the tiles are large and you can make moves without having to wait for all the tiles to fall.
This is a great game for something that is not too stressful yet keeps you entertained or it does me any way.
I recommend this game. Try the demo see what you think but I preferred it after the demo time. Enjoy

This may seem strange but the first thing I look at when I demo a game is the amount of space it will take on my hard drive. This one is over 2gb and it's an se, amazing.
I am a puzzle geek and puzzle fans are well catered for here and for me they are not too hard, not too easy, just right. Sounds like Goldilocks.
Unlike the previous games this is done in the hopa style which I like.
There are few Hog scenes which is not going to please every one but I enjoyed them and some items are fairly hard to find.
The graphics are excellent and you can fast click through all the banter which is another plus for me.

For what you get with this game and the length of it for the price of a SE it is well worth it and will not be repeated again in a few weeks time.
I find nothing worse than a boring CE game which then comes up again as a SE, not that this is boring, Far from it.
Try the demo, see what you think. Hardened Hog players are probably going to be a bit let down with this but it is a great all rounder and you can skip most things. Another bonus in my books.

This game was very hard. Very hard to last the whole demo.
Why oh why does this dev rehash over and over again. They have pulled the rabbit out of the hat a couple of times with the odd surprise in other games but this is bargain basement stuff.
Graphics are dreadful, so is the music and how on earth this can be passed off as a CE is beyond belief ?
It has 45 levels and a "Bonus Chapter" but there is no way of knowing how many levels or indeed what is in the bonus level until you complete the first chapter.
Where is the skip button for the dreadful dialogue ?
Try the demo and see what you think but bear in mind there are very similar games by this dev already out there so why buy another? Would you buy the same video just because it had a different cover?
I am sorry but it is an absolute no from me.
I don't recommend this game.
Solve puzzles and save Halloween before the little witches, ghosts and other terrors start knocking on the doors!

I was pleased to hear that this developer had decided to venture out from his usual games of jigsaw puzzles to which he is one of the best.
However this game is not one of his best but he tried, to which I thank him for that.
To answer one of the reviewers regarding the fading images, these are not what you are looking for.
In the bottom centre of the game you get a silver ring with a black inset. The item you need to find comes up in that with how many items you need to find. To start it is 1 but will increase as the game gets harder.

The most annoying thing about this game is as far as I could see you can not turn the hints off and it is constantly telling you where the item is. Arrgh, big no no for me.
You need to be able to turn that off.
The timed mode is over the ten levels of each of the 12 sections of the game and although an easy game I was just not able to complete a section before my time ran out so would suggest you use the untimed mode but by all means try timed as I am a bit slow.

The bell did not really bother me as it is a halloween themed game and yes you can not turn this off in the game but you can mute your own sound , not ideal I know but it seems to be the only option.
You can replay levels which is a good thing.
I found some of the items very difficult to see and could have done with being a bit more clearer.
Not sure why you could turn the music off but not the effects?
As I said earlier this is not this developers normal field and changes would need to be made to improve the game but they gave it a go to do something different.

Now this is a challenge but I think it is one of those games that you either love or hate.
For me I love puzzles so this is great for me and is dusting off the cobwebs in my brain, rather apt for this time of year.
At first I struggled with this and you need to really study the instructions to get the hang of it. There is only one mode however there is a timer and you can aim to improve your time.
For me I took a long time to work out the clues and the larger boards are a real challenge. Others can explain the ins and outs better than me.

What I liked is you can start with what ever size board you want with 6x6 being the largest.
You need to make 25 potions and they all come with a witty phrase which I find amusing, just what you need in these trying times.
So as I like this so much why not 5 stars?
2 things I did not like.
You can not save the game in fact it warns you you can not save the game if you wish to leave a level also you cannot restart a level if you make a mistake, you can start another 4x4 board but you will get different clues which I feel is not that good.
I prefer if I have to restart to be able to restart the same level.
Having said that puzzle geeks like me will love this.
Not for everybody but give it a try and see what you think.
The ultimate goal would be to get through the higher levels with no mistakes and in the quickest time but for me I will take my time as I am a bit of a slow thinker.

Wow ,Just Wow.
This developer brought tears to my eyes and just for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. More on that later.
One thing that always makes me give praise is when a developer listens to what people say and actually put things right and Graphium Studios have done just that.
At first you may think where are all the options but they are there in the game and many of them. You can play from 30 to 1000 pieces and vary the shapes.
You can do many things to create a game the way you want to play it and even add bogus pieces for an even harder game.
The Halloween theme is done so well here with beautiful images but the best thing by far for me is you can add your own images so you have limitless puzzles to do.
I live thousands of KM away from my parents and now I have just done a Jigsaw of my parents which has made me so happy and that is what bought tears to my eyes. In these times of Covid something like this makes all the difference
I am also an avid photographer so now thanks to this game I can not only do the wonderful Halloween puzzles here but also my own creations.

.I purchased the CE version and have not regretted that decision.
With most TM games it can pay to wait for the SE unless like me you just need to get in to a new TM.

First off if you have not purchased yet be aware that this game gets very challenging and I was greatful for having a strategy guide
Some SE games do have hidden treasures to find but this one does not and for me a lot of the fun and challenge was to find the parts of the treasure map which led to the extra secret bonus levels.

In this standard edition you still get 50 levels so if you are on a budget this is a worthy game to get and will not disappoint.

The first levels I was a bit unsure of as they were very samey to the previous game but don't let that put you off and also very easy but it does get much better.
Has anyone noticed the food van now has a side entrance door which seems to save you a fraction of time as opposed to going around the back of the van. May be just me but I am sure I saved time.
I like where you need to clear trees to access your build site and the graphics are very sharp.
As you go on you get different tasks to do as well as the usual pick up and collect such as building scaffold etc. Having said that you need to build food vans and factories so your picking up is at a minimum.

The first strange thing was this game knew whom I was and started at level 1.4 yet I have never played this game before .No problem as you can replay the levels which I wanted to do .
Never had something like that happen before. Well I suppose it is Halloween soon.
What I do not like about these games is the poor strategy guide which once again is the dreaded blue arrows. How I would love a proper strategy guide.
I like the new paint feature but that seems to be the only new thing .
I do enjoy these games but yet again not sure what extras you get for a CE until you complete the game.
I will wait for the SE to come out as this for me seems very alike the previous games and I am not inclined to pay extra when I do not know what extra I am getting.
Having said that try the demo and see what you think but for me I can wait.
