Warning, this game is much better than it first seems. The first few levels are very off putting but persevere with it. When you get to the 2nd chapter then it becomes really good. The problem with demos is they quite often do not show the real quality to a game and this one is no exception.
At first the cartoon like graphics gave me the wrong idea plus the stupid interactive guide is not in the SE so in my opinion the SE flows much better You get more and more challenges and need to defeat the skeletons and turn off the portals and unless you have enough resources built up they just keep coming back. There are puzzle pieces to collect in order to unlock the bonus level in each round. There are 70 plus levels in this SE plus you still get the bonus puzzles and the jigsaw pieces to find. Find all the pieces to unlock the bonus. This is different to the Hercules we know but I think it needed a change . In the CE you basically just get 15 extra levels plus the stupid guide which we can all do without. It is not going to suit everyone but I really enjoyed this game. I had to change to the normal cursor as the one I started with was not very responsive so you may need to do the same. To get as far in to the game as you can in the demo which will give you a better idea, skip all the banter and don't search for the puzzle pieces unless you come across them as it will get you further in and also play in relaxed to start as I feel it will give you a better idea of the game the further you can progress in the demo. I did buy the CE as I so wanted to carry on playing but now this is out this is the better deal . Having said that the 15 extra levels in the CE were good so it is entirely up to what you feel is best for you. There are walkthroughs around if you do get stuck.
I recommend this game!

First off to get the full benefit of the demo and to get well in to the game before your time runs out skip the dialogue and believe me there is a lot of it. You can always enjoy the story if you decide to buy but you will be wasting too much valuable demo time if you take it all in. This could be quite a good game but there seems to be just one mode. I need a more relaxed mode, this soon became way too fast for me. Some of us like to take their time. If you like speed then you should be fine with this. I like that you need to find artifacts and to start enjoyed it.I so needed a more relaxed pace. I was very confused as to what if anything you get extra for a CE and nowhere could I find anything explaining the extras. Play the demo and make your own mind up.It may well suit you. The music is relaxing and the Asian setting is relaxing, a bit of zen but the game is far from relaxing for me. Just my view others may well love it. This follows on from a very similar game a couple of days ago and I feel a different style of TM or something a bit different could have been offered

Yes it is the same game but it has been updated with better graphics, The characters respond quicker but do seem a bit more healthier than the originals, They automatically go to the till now instead of having to instruct them to go there..There seems to be more tutorial help here with arrows etc. Overall I feel this game runs better than the original. As to if it is acceptable to remaster a game then pass it off as a new game, the jury's out on that one.
What mostly concerns me is what warrants this as a CE? There does not seem to be any extras what so ever, not even wallpapers unless I am missing something ?
If you have never purchased the original, like the demo then go for this one
I don't recommend this game.

This is from the same dev who does the legends of series and once again same old. At least we have bonuses you earn through matching 4 or 5 tiles etc .If you have never played any of these games before then you may enjoy it although I find the graphics on this pretty poor. Putting two pretty below average match 3's up on consecutive days is not my idea of variety. Try the demo and see how you go. Not for me i'm afraid
I don't recommend this game.

These games are very similar time after time after time but that is not the biggest complaint for me. For a start although there is an on off for the tutorial it is non existent anyway and unless you know your way around this developers games you will struggle. You don't get bonuses for matching 4 plus tiles you get mana that takes an extremely long time to fill up in fact in my whole demo I did not fill my mana once. I have played other games by this Dev and the mana fills much quicker than this. You need to purchase the bonuses in the store but beware there, as it starts with purchasing gates , labs etc that waste money that you need on your bonuses which can be found but it is not easy. The game play is very clunky, not smooth at all. I like to be able to match 5 and get a bomb or something, not with this game. If this was a one off then fine but its not, it is one of many. All working the same. To get the most out of the demo to enable you to experience as much match 3 action as possible skip all the talk, avoid changing Dennis's clothes , the only thing that does is cut down on your demo time.
If you have never played any of this Devs games before then you may just enjoy it but its hardly inspiring. We all have different tastes so don't take my word for it.Try it and see what you think
I don't recommend this game.

There are so many solitaire games out there that after a few minutes you become bored with. Not so this one. As you get further in to this game it becomes more interesting but by the time you get to the end of the demo you will get a fair idea of what is going on.Took me a bit of time to work out what is going on and would have preferred a bit more detailed instructions but that is probably me being dreamy. I like the challenge here to add powers to your game and the way it is done. Be careful as each dreamworld some of the powers will hinder rather than be a bonus. You can replay each level and you can take this at your own pace. Enjoy
I recommend this game!

As mentioned by Pennmom this dev really does care and has made changes so that we now have an easier to see skip function plus a zoom feature that makes all the difference as some of the objects are small. I am not a great lover of hogs but this game really appeals to me and there are lots of skippable mini games too. A joy.
Now we now have to wait on Big Fish to upgrade the CE so that it has the new features.A little bird tells me that the upgrade is with them should not be long before all of us who have the CE will get the upgrade.
It really is great when Devs listen to what people say. After all that is the whole point of reviews. Enjoy
I recommend this game!

Review based on entire game including bonus levels
I bought this this game from the developers in order that I could give a review here on the whole game
I have always been a fan of this series and have them all. They are very predictable but something about them keeps me hooked. However this last one I just felt I could not give it 5 stars, The previous game had a fair few changes in it and was a joy to play. This one in my opinion has no different extras at all until you get well in to the bonus levels but we will discuss that later.
Don’t get me wrong this is a very good game but is so similar to the previous one. The story is different with a virus from an alien planet but I can’t help feel this is not very PC given the current situation in the world. Maybe a bit of bad timing.
As usual with this series you get coins to purchase boosters but this feature runs out of bonuses available yet you still earn 3 coins per level and I ended up with 85 coins that could not be used. It would be nice to see another use for the remainder of these coins.
Something that changed in the last game and that I think that it is a bit of a disadvantage when you are on the harder modes is that when you build something now you no longer get a supply of goods to start you off. You need to wait till you get given them. I miss this feature and feel it is something that needs looking at.
There are one or two levels that are a bit tricky but in the standard levels not once did I need to use the strategy guide. They made quite an effort to improve the last game but I feel they have failed a bit here. I did enjoy it though but felt they could have been a bit more inventive.
That brings me on to the extra levels. Now these I really did enjoy and I needed on a couple of occasions to use the strategy guide. It is a shame that they did not incorporate more of this earlier in the standard levels. The 2nd to last level of extras they then strangely decided to add a feature which should have been added earlier in my opinion where you need to find colored keys to unlock matching colored shelters to release supplies. Unlock them in the wrong order and you run out of supplies but you can replay the level. This was in just one level right at the end. Why on earth did they not bring this in earlier?
I still rate this game highly but feel it could have been better hence only 4 stars.
I recommend this game!

This developer has put a lot of thought and effort in to this game and deserves a standing ovation. Mahjong can become very boring very quickly and although I have tried other Mahjong games I quickly get fed up for them and usually skip when they are mini games. Not so here. They have done here what flavor did to vanilla ice cream. I am loving this game. Starting with a very challenging HO that slightly annoyed me but the detail was brilliant and then we come to the different execution of the mahjong which changed my whole feeling towards it.You have the option to play in relaxed which is fine for me.It is nice to have a different game and just goes to show that you can make something that I have always found boring very interesting in deed, Try the demo for yourselves as what is good for one is not always good for another. Enjoy
I recommend this game!

I am trying to find something nice to say about this game but I am struggling. Same as all the previous in this series, same music, format etc. If you have one you do not need any more but to me the worse thing about this game is it is not a new game by any means it came out as a Mac game nearly a year ago.Surely there are better games than this around. It is a very standard solitaire game but please don't take my word for it try the demo and then decide.I downloaded it in a few seconds so that gives you some idea of the quality of this game.
I don't recommend this game.
