The talented journalist, Eva Sanders, witnesses strange events while working on a story and soon finds herself implicated in the most incredible plot of the millennium!
My basic problem is with the hint. I was in the first hidden object scene and I tried using the hint. It pointed down to the bottom of the screen where there was a tea set. I clicked on everything there. Nothing happened. I tried the hint again thinking that it would show me something else. It gave me the same location again, a total of three times. If this is the way a game is going to work, then I don't want anything to do with it.
I loved the first game, A Dog's Heart, and expected this one to be similar. However, it is about as different as anything can be. I am very disappointed. The HOPs are strange, since you have to find something and then use it to do something to something else, which I didn't like, and the minigames are a type that I totally dislike. I wish I had not bought it.
This game makes no sense. It jumps immediately into a hidden object puzzle with no explanation as to what the story is. This makes it very confusing. I cannot get it to do anything else, so I quit.
There is absolutely nothing that tells the player what to do. Even clicking on the hint is not helpful. One of the first objects apparently has to do with the suitcases at the lower left of the Inspector's stateroom, but the hint doesn't say what you are supposed to do with them. Games like this need strategy guides to help the players. I am glad that I only tried the trial and didn't just buy it. I would have been very sorry.
In the trial version, you cannot use the strategy guide and the hint is mostly useless. I was unable to go anywhere and gave up after about five minutes. I would definitely not want to buy it.
Terrible game. Nothing to tell me what to do except apparently to snap a bunch of photos with nothing to say what or why. You could not even give me this one.
There is absolutely nothing that tells you what to do. I am supposed to find Granny's cane. So, where am I supposed to look? What am I supposed to do? Why isn't there some kind of indication as to what is going on. This game is not fun at all.
The hint takes a full minute to load and there is nothing that tells me what to do next. There were sparkles on a dresser which obviously meant an HOP, but when I got the key, there were no instructions as to what to do with it. Nothing. Buying this game is a waste of money.
There is no strategy guide to help the player, so you are totally dependent on the hints. However, they are numbered and it is easy to run out quickly and then you don't know what to do. This is no help at all. Even though it has an interesting plot, I do not want it.
