To my surprise, I really enjoyed this game. Great graphics, wonderful music and good storyline. The pace is just right with power-ups that last and allow you to continue to build a high score and your cash level. You can make it as challenging as you like and you won't get frustrated with impossible to win levels. Interesting pop-up games that also keep the game fun and interesting. Different from any solitaire game I've played. I could play it over and over again. Would like to see more games from this developer.
No fun until graphic quality in full screen mode is improved!

I love HOGs, and have tried to play the Big City Adventure series, however, I have found that in full screen mode, the graphics are dull looking and distorted. Visuals are great in the minimized mode, but they should also be great in the full mode (why have a large monitor if you have to play in mini mode to see objects?!). I was hoping that the Barcelona game would different, but it's the same as the others. Going forward, I hope the developer will improve the quality of the graphics in full screen mode.
You collect coins to build the town, but you can't match the coins; instead you have to make matches next to them, which was different and challenging. Once all coins are collected, you move to the next level. I played the timed mode, and the time allowed per game was the shortest I've ever played in any match game, but again this added to the challenge. Objects are well hidden, and there are Achievements. I liked the variety of match objects. The ghosts are cute too!
Decent HO game. Personally, I found the pupil-less imp annoying and a bit unsightly, although some players will find him fun. Compared to other HO games, the storyline was a bit flat and uninteresting. Thank goodness for the free trial before purchasing a game.
Good storyline; good common sense connection from one area to next (did not have to wander from area to area aimlessly trying to figure out what to do next, which is frustrating and definitely a reason for me to quit the game right away). Graphics not terrific; over-usage of same hidden object scenes. I usually use system cursor, but this one like cursor in "Dark Strokes" (great game by the way) is not too clunky and large. Overall, an enjoyable, challenging game.
Compelling storyline - exciting and interesting (I normally don't read them - just click and go as most are boring). Can't wait to see what is going to happen next and it's usually not what you would expect. Not overly easy but not so difficult and exhausting that you want to quit the game. Skip buttons on all mini games so far, but you will want to to play these - they are different and fun. HOS are great; not too complicated to piece together the areas that need extra attention. Love that the strategy guide is built in. Went from trial directly into full version and still playing.
