This game is made by Anarchy Enterprises. It is cartoonish and seems geared towards children, but has a certain charm to it. The graphics are well drawn enough and the soundtrack is good. The puzzles are very easy, so those looking for more of a challenge might not like this. It has a western setting and you play a psychic detective trying to save the town from the ghost of a notorious outlaw. The game is fairly short. I would've liked to have seen some wallpaper or other extras.
This is very good game from developer five-BN. Sold look, good smooth gameplay and a very likeable main character. The only fault is that the game takes place in 1950s NYC but doesn't always look like 1950s NYC.
This is the second Grim Facade game from ERS. The graphics are mediocre as I expected the Italian countryside to be more picturesque. Also the story is sometimes hard to follow as the cut scenes are very abrupt. After playing through the game and the bonus chapter I still don't exactly know what happened.
But overall, it is typically good ERS gameplay so I shouldn't be too hard on it.
This is the first Grim Facade game from ERS. It is typical ERS, meaning it is solid and a good game, but nothing really stands out. Graphics are well....typical ERS.
Solid Venetian scenery that reminds me of the movie Don't Look Now.
I think the story could have been a little better and the bonus game could have been more interesting.
I loved the first New York Mysteries despite its rather inaccurate portrayal of 1950s NYC.
This game was not as good. The villain resembled Electro from Spiderman.
The anachronisms and inaccuracies were even more ridiculous this time around. VHS tapes, paper cranes and "squid kababs" being sold in Chinatown.
New York looked so empty. There weren't any people walking the street. The main character had a nasally voice and wore modern clothing. The bonus chapter had a rather unsympathetic premise.
True horror games that actually try to be scary are rare in BFG. True Fear is one game. This is another.
It starts out like SAW but is more like Nightmare on Elm Street.
Decent graphics and soundtrack. Original story that isn't too hokey. Even the voice acting is not bad.
The gameplay is smart and engaging.
Mad Head did a good job with this one and hopefully the success of True Fear and this game will convince the developers and Big Fish to release more adult horror games.
This game is made by a small studio called Top Evidence. You can tell that the game was made on a modest budget. There aren't even any voiceovers, which is cool with me because most HOG voiceovers tend to be terrible anyway.
Well drawn gothic style graphics, a very rich soundtrack(mostly taken from public domain sources) and a good story and simple gameplay make for an entertaining game.
I recommend this game!

I am a big fan of Artifex Mundi's other hit series Enigmatis and seeing all the good reviews I came into this game with high expectations.
Graphics are decent and gameplay is decent but the game is bogged down by an incredibly hokey story.
Exploring the haunted ships is cool but coversing with cheerful ghosts and as well as an old tired pirate love story make the game somewhat mundane to play through.
The latest entry of League of Light keeps up the excellence of the first two games. The story is a bit on the bleak side and some of the characters dress too modern for what is a mostly medieval fantasy game but overall its pretty good.
This is the second League of Light game. Like the first, the graphics are very impressive but more cartoony than the first game. I noticed that with several other game series as well, were the sequels are often more cartoony than the first game.
The bonuses are pretty good. The story is fine. Puzzles are fine. Good stuff.
